Is The USA Breaking Up?
November 13, 2012 By

A movement that initially consisted of a few citizens, but now is
growing exponentially day-by-day to include twenty-three states, is
underway for the States to secede from Barack Obama’s corrupt United
States.

Everyday citizens are sickened by the Obama administration’s massive
voter fraud, suppression of the military vote, and sabotaging of the
voting machines in the recent presidential election.

Everyday citizens in the millions believe that Barack Hussein Obama stole the election.

That he is not the rightful President of the United States.

Will the United States break up? Will the States really secede?

As of Tuesday morning, 34 of 50 states are petitioning President Obama for peaceful secession from the United States of America. That number was only 23 yesterday. That is more than half of the states in America.

It's unclear whether these petitions are a nod to dissatisfaction that some conservatives think may soon match Civil War
proportion,or not. However, the utter contempt for the Obama
administration indicated by this petition drive, which appears to be on
its way to all fifty states, is very clear.

Monday, the petitions had garnered 93,166 collective total signatures. Since then, Texas
alone, has over 63,745 signatures. Some famous Texans including
Governor Rick Perry and Chuck Norris have made thundering noises about secession. Norris' column reads like a "Call to Action" for all Texas Patriots. He
quotes founding fathers, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and
Patrick Henry, imploring , "How much more will Americans take? When will
enough be enough?" ending with the ominous warning "And when that
time comes, ...will history need to record a second American
Revolution?"

If the goal is to amass a total of 58,783,137 signatures, one for
each citizen who voted for Mitt Romney, obviously, the petitions need to
circulate a little longer. Most agree these petitions are a dramatic
effort to influence Obama's agenda, and reinforce the conservative mantra that Obama has "no mandate."

Five states, New York, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Oklahoma are
collecting signatures on two petitions. At one time, then Senator Obama
claimed he had campaigned in all "57 states." Perhaps these states have
doubled up to memorialize the president's gaffe.

Citizen petitions for any issue may be added to the site and signatures may be added with links to each state here.
Each petition requires 25,000 signatures in order to be reviewed by
the administrator. Texas was first to meet that requirement. The states
participating in the petition drive to secede, at this time, are:

  1. West Virginia 282
  2. Nebraska 933
  3. Pennsylvania 1,449; Pennsylvania 6,881
  4. Alaska 1,963 Kansas 1,928
  5. South Dakota 755
  6. Oklahoma 2,721; Oklahoma 10,135
  7. Utah 3,358
  8. Wyoming 3.345
  9. California 4,666
  10. Ohio 4,471, Ohio 770
  11. New York 3,497; New York 10,672
  12. Delaware 4,034
  13. Nevada 5,372
  14. Arizona 10,449
  15. Arkansas 13,329
  16. South Carolina 14,001
  17. Georgia 18,008
  18. Missouri 11,347 Missouri 9,604
  19. Tennessee 17,522
  20. Michigan 12,119
  21. South Carolina 10,433
  22. Colorado 13,248
  23. Oregon 9,741
  24. New Jersey 9,157
  25. North Dakota 8,309
  26. Montana 9,253
  27. Indiana 12,051
  28. Mississippi 11,597
  29. Georgia 9,019
  30. Kentucky 11,589
  31. Florida 19,183
  32. North Carolina 16,845
  33. Texas 63,745
  34. Louisiana 27,067

The Texas petition, which suggests to the Obama administration, "Texans neither want nor need you," reads as follows:

"We petition the Obama Administration to peacefully
grant the State of Texas to withdraw from the United States of America
and create its own NEW government. The US continues to suffer economic
difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform
domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from
blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given
that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th
largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to
withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’
standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in
accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers
which are no longer being reflected by the federal government."
............Only time will tell....

    I hope they do.

I am sure that more then one military member either active duty, retired, disabled or just seperated WILL band Together (reguardless of whatever state they come from) to protect those who wish to enjoy the freedoms and the rights we grew up with.

P.S. It would blow all obama's plans to hell

Consider the following as a constitutional alternative to unravelling the status quo: At present, the U.S. has several Territories to include Guam, Puerto Rico, CNMI, USVI and American Samoa. The residents are U.S. citizens and they do not pay federal income tax. However, as collective dependents of the U.S., they receive hundreds of millions of dollars each year in goodies to include food stamps, HUD housing, etc., from Uncle Sam. In exchange, they are not allowed to vote in the Presidential election and they do not have U.S. Senators. However, each territory is allowed one non-voting representative in the U.S. House of Representatives. This person is selected by the territorial Governor. What if the red states decided that they no longer want to be States and opted to reverting back to being U.S. Territories? The blue states would get the luxury of supporting these Territories with goodies through their taxes. Since the residents of blue states claim to have a monopoly on compassion, they shouldn't have a problem with their financial support of the Territories. Thus, the argument is that the red states aren't seceding from the Union, they are opting to becoming dependent's of the Union. Problem solved. Everyone is happy.

Already seven states have reached the number of signatures to make it to a revue. TX alone has over 100,000 signatures and from there to the count needed. I guess people just aren't so happy with what is going on in Washington. Just think if all 40 states get the require count by the 10th of Dec. At the rate TX is going they may end up with more votes than either candidate got to get elected.

Unfortunately, although the numbers look high, as a percentage of population they are incredibly low. Even Texas with an impressive sounding 63745 is small when you consider Texas' population passed 26million earlier this year. A quick fiddle with my calculator shows that to be roughly 0.0024% of people. Quite a way to go before anyone breaks away I think.

Deduct more than half of the population in TX as illegals and then deduct more as children. Then figure out that they now have over 100,000 signatures and it is only day 4 of starting the petition. They have until Dec. 10th to finish gathering signatures.
  • Ben gimini210 2012/11/14 22:29:03
    Ben
Ah yes, I forgot the children. And with the new unverified figure of 100,000, that boosts the percentage up to 0.0055%

Would need to see some evidence that half of Texas' population are illegal immigrants and that these individuals were counted on the census, especially when 70% of people answering the census were white. And even if true, you'd still be left at 0.011%.

Still as you say, it's early days and anything could happen.

Please, you think this is about seceding and not that it is time to wake Washington up to the fact that "We The People" have had it? You think this is not about 6 trillion in debt from duplicate agencies paying God knows how many people to do the same job that has failed to be done in 30+ years? You think this is not about the majority telling the people we elected and pay to represent the majority no and they still spend our taxes on things we said no to? You think this is not about Obama care that 53%, the majority, said no to but still got stuck with? This is about waking up Washington that the silent majority woke up and are no longer silent. That they can not keep on with taking our hard earned money and spending it as they see fit after we say no and then sitting on their butts and saying well that didn't work so we'll just go another 2 trillion in debt to shell out more money on more failed projects the tax payers don't want or know about? This is a revolt against the Federal government and EO's overriding the will of the people. This is why we broke free of England. Our voices were ignored and that is what is now happening in our government and people have had it.

The first paragraph of the thread if "A movement that initially consisted of a few citizens, but now is growing exponentially day-by-day to include twenty-three states, is underway for the States to secede from Barack Obama’s corrupt United
    States."

So yes, for some crazy reason I did think this thread was about secession.
And you cant call the signatories of this movement as the 'silent majority' until they actually achieve a majority of numbers. Or if they're not being silent come to that.

And please stop calling the UK 'England'. It'd be like me calling the USA 'Pennsylvania'.
  • gimini210 Ben 2012/11/16 01:05:49
    gimini210
Didn't know the UK didn't like being called England I am sorry if that was an insult. And if you are from the UK why are you so interested in what we do? As for the majority, there are a large portion of Americans that have been silent for years about what is going on in our nation that are now waking up and beginning to fight back. There are 3 weeks left to sign these petitions and so far over a million to two million have signed on and at the rate it is growing there may well end up well over a majority as more and more jobs are lost and more and more prices go up. As of today there are 68,000+ people who have lost their jobs and God knows how many who have had their hours cut to less than 30 a week because of Obamacare and those same people will have to buy insurance, it isn't a government freebie, without enough income to pay their bills. You really think they will just sit back and say or do nothing. It will grow and that is troublesome as a lot will truly want to be free of what our government is doing. This bill alone will control the medical field, our treatment by doctors, all will be decided on by some agency that doesn't know a single one of us.
  • Ben gimini210 2012/11/16 01:21:55
    Ben
I'm interested for two reasons.... a. It's interesting (American politics is so much more...exciting than politics over here). and b. If such a thing happened, it would have serious short term repercussions on the rest of the world.

And I did say anythingwas possible, just merely pointed out that at the time, the numbers weren't that inspiring. But they do continue to go up I'll give you that, so who knows what'll happen. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  • gimini210 Ben 2012/11/16 01:38:32
    gimini210
I am not for seceding from our nation unless there is no alternative to what is going on now in our government. Insider trading both in the White House and congress, yet any of us do it we go to jail, taking our money saying it is for our retirement then spending it on what ever they want while telling us it is going bankrupt and still they keep taking it knowing some who pay thousands in will never get a dime back, this is just a small portion of what is going on that many of us have said enough is enough. Worse is they exempt themselves, the unions and the Muslims from Obamacare but force it on all the rest of us.

All of your ration/reason/common sense has just taken flight ! Obama's election/re-election has literally driven a great number of you INSANE ! What's next, a VOODOO SPELL to get OBAMA out of office ? LOL ! You may was well try that next, you're hoping against hope on every other angel of this, why not VOODOO? astrology, spell casting ? When does it stop being "donations" and start being "bribes"?
