I wish we could all accept that the "truth" as we see it is not always visible. If we could just get off the name-calling, vitrol, disrespect for each other's opinions, mayhap we could have a real discourse here.

I'm afraid you "ask for it" dico with your accusations and charges that you know are absolutely false. I accept the fact that exaggerations are made against Gov. Palin and they will come out. But you cannot deny that she is very thin on education, experience, and knowledege of the workings of the government outside of the populated 650,000 State of Alaska. The Left fears her Pentacostal background and her contempt for the environmental concerns that millions of people have. They find that her equal contempt in reading with nary a thought, a speech written by a Karl Rove minion is pretty unetical.

I would really like to have a genuine discussion of both side's concerns, but the constant calling anyone who disagrees, "clueless", "stupid", "ignorant", or irrelevant isn't cutting it. As much as I might disagree with those who have far different opinions, I have not found any one who fits those descriptions and I regret accusing them as such in the early, naive days of my own posting.
