Your "yes" answer is factually and historically incorrect. Following tne end of WWII, Israel was occupied by the British. The Israelis didn't steal anything - they kicked the Brits out and claimed their land and established an independent State.

Let me guess - your preferred news source is Al Jezeera; the Holocaust never happened; the Yom Kippur and 6-Day wars are fabrications; and Iran wants to be friends with Israel.

That's a very good question.I won't disagree that my answer is wrong,but at some point the Jewish people have to have some sanctuary or a place to call home.They have put up with persicution for centurys,its time.

There's so much obfuscation over this whole mess according to the religions and politics of the people who have lived there that it will never be resolved to everybody's satisfaction. Many sensible compromises were offerred over the years and none of them were found completely acceptable by the parties directly affected. This particular question is worded imprecisely also, in that what exactly are Palestinians? Do we use the British Mandate boundaries? Do we try to interpret the vague descriptions contained within the Bible translations? The U.N. has screwed up so many former disputes, why should they be the ones given any more authority to make this one more of a mess than it already is?

They was never a country called Palestine and the people that call themselves all of a sudden "Palestinian" are Arabs from surrounding countries that until 1967 self-identified as part of the wider Arab nation. If anything they have a home and its called Jordan or wherever they originated from which wasn't the most part Israel.

The UN stole nothing: Balfour Declaration, League of Nations and the UN. That make as much sense as writing the UN 'stole' real colonial inventions like: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq or Pakistan. It never ceases to amaze me the sheer historical ignorance in some questions on this site.

I'm actually going to go further they have had opportunity after opportunity for statehood and refused often followed by waging war against Israel along with other Arabs. Well they lost.

So basically, because that country was originally the hometown of a certain society say A then A has the right to invade B based on the fact that once upon a time the people that shared the same believes they did once lived there.
So can governemts invade other countries based on that reason, is it a good excuse or justification, if a governemnt do so they are involving their religious believes leading them to the possibility of being bias when it comes to decision making I suppose. Such thinking or justifying may cause other conflicts that can esclate to other wars and invasions.
Thats your opinion I respect it I'm just trying to project why I disagree.
