Israel readies civilians for war

Bibi Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, the Prime and Defense Ministers of Israel, have all but made up their minds to strike at Iran before the US elections. The reason: they can't wait any longer. The USA's own National Intelligence Estimate says that Iran will soon make its nuclear facilities "immune" to direct attack. (Peter Graves, call your agent! Anyone on your Impossible Missions Force who speaks Farsi?)
The people of Israel aren't waiting. They're getting their gas masks and antidote kits. Those people never were complacent about this sort of thing. Still, why now?
Add to it: Israel has every reason not to trust the putative President of the USA. He has turned his back on Israel before the UN. His press secretary didn't even know that, under US law, our embassy ought to be in Jerusalem, not in Tel Aviv.
One more thing: Israel's government knows that if they strike at Iran, they're looking at a month-long war, at least, along several fronts. Iran can't attack directly--not yet. But it has surrogates in Syria and Lebanon. Not to mention Egypt.
What say you? Are we looking at war breaking out between Israel and Iran? Or not?

I hope Israel wins. And I hope it will NOT help Obama win the election. The USA is not going to support Israel. Why Obama tries so hard to talk Bibi out of attacking b4 the elections?? Does he feel volnurable with this war?
Should the mullahs get more than several nukes, even small ones, it would be the end end of Israel if they launched them all at the same time. Sure the Israeli military would retaliate and Iran may be obliterated but the country would be wiped out.
And their agenda is: First the Jews, and then you!
And now Bashar Assad has Saddam's old WMD stash. He lent some to some Jordanian traitors, but nothing came of that. King Abdullah was too smart for them.
You are making a presumptuous statement about "Saddam's WMD" that is absolutely ridiculous and without proof. You're not one of those people still hunting for something that didn't exist are you? Good grief.
