LOL. Yup. Definitely. Especially because this ends up being a giant tax write off for them...and this would be WHY they don't pay their fair share of taxes.
Personally, even I'd vote for him if he took all those campaign contributions and used them to pay down the national debt.

Why this Progressive Elitist fascination with equal incomes? Why not equal heights, equal coolness, equal amounts of head-top hair, equal intelligence, or equal sex appeal? Why is it that they only think that income is to be equalized? Of course, this shallow fascination with income equality is seen to be foolish when applied to most anything else. But, why is it hard for them to see that?

These 1% Hollywood stars suffer from "liberal guilt", because of their success. It also proves that no matter how rich and successful you are, it is always a great temptation to want to keep up with the Jones's. In this case they want to keep up with George Clooney by going to his party and being seen with the rich and famous and contributing money to a liberal cause. Some of these stars (especially George Clooney) can have their agents sign them for an endless number of pictures for $20 million per picture. The money he raised with his party could have been contributed the poor, and he could have written a check to the President for $15 mil!

It makes no sense unless they know something is going to happen and the wealthy will be the sheltered group who will be exempt from what everyone else is going to experience.

The ultra rich have been constructing homes around a certain place deep in the woods of West Virgina and are guaranteed a spot inside this certain place because of the homes they have built.
