A drug addict consumes the drugs destroying his body.
The government uses taxes to attempt to regulate or improve the country, recover from the current financial situations, and attempt to prevent it getting worse.
At this point, cutting spending alone will have little effect, unless you're willing to completely sacrifice services such as the military, state funded police & fire services etc. mere cuts are dropping funding below acceptable levels.

Like I said, go live in a country where taxes are low, the rich get to keep everything they steal, the government is weak and giant, predatory corporations rule without limitations.

Oh wait, that's what both the Dems and Repubs have been busily turning America into for the last 35 years. I guess you can just wait a few more years and you won't have to go anywhere because the Obamas and Romneys will have created your ideal society right here.

Nobody is suggesting that! Lol....It's about there being effective with the revenue they receive. The answer for effective government is not achieved by just throwing money at a problem. Or throwing pork for support well received!

The federal debt quadrupled under Reagan. It also tripled under Bush. I find it ironic how nobody ever made an issue out of it until Obama took office.
