It has been quiet common for the terms: anybody but Obama, if you don't vote for Mitt you are voting for Obama, not voting is a vote for Obama, ect; in order to try and force people to vote for Mitt Romney instead of voting for third party or not voting at all.
What this comes down to, is that anyone that falls for these type of arguments are voting for Mitt Romney out of fear for Obama winning. This is what I termed a fear vote. So the question is: is voting out of fear the Christian thing to do.
Well in order to answer that question we must look at some bible versus.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
1 John 4:8
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fearinvolves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
So clearly one must not make decisions based on the fear of man, but we are suppose to based on the fear of God. So no it is not the Christian thing to do to vote for Mitt out of fear of Obama. If you are a Christian and are going to vote for Mitt Romney should not be voting for him because you fear Obama, but because he is a reasonable person to vote for biblically. Now if you can resolve that he is a biblically acceptable candidate you have plenty of reason to vote for Mitt. But those of you out there trying to get people to vote for Mitt by the methods mentioned above you are using unChristian like tactics.

Anyone who has the common sense that God gave chickens knows that for the sake of our children and grandchildren Obama has to go.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
The fruits of Obama's labors are not good and he gathers thistles and thorns as his friends and the strife and lies that he tells so the bible would tell us to shun him and give him nothing. Therefore we should not give him our vote.
What you term 'fear' could easily be an honest appraisal of the field and a recognition that there could not possibly be anyone worse than the disgusting snake, Obama. What you term 'fear' could easily be nausea. What you term 'fear', could be brilliant confidance.
It hasn't anything to do with Christianity at all. Nice try.
It won't deflect attention from the fact that:
~ ~ OBAMA MUST GO AT ANY COST ~~
"Fear" has nothing to do with observing the behaviors, performance, non-productivity or with assessing what appear to be the goals of an administration.
Some of us do not make important decisions based on emotions, namely in this case, not on fear.
So yes, voting for Mitt Romney for DREAD of Obama is a perfectly Christian thing to do, and I most certainly shall do it.
Proverbs 27:12: "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished." Obama is evil, and only the simple (ignorant) will vote for him.
Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Obama is the most pro-abortion president we've ever had, and his HHS mandate shows his utter contempt for religious freedom.
This is on top of the fact that he's completely out of touch with regard to the economy. He said "the private sector is doing fine" the other day. Just with that statement alone, he's proven himself totally undeserving of a second term.
A private-sector CEO with his sort of track record would have been fired by now.
If you're an atheist, then you just vote for whoever will support your political views. So, in my case...I'm staying home and shoving a spork under my fingernails.
While Mitt was not my first choice, he is CERTAINLY a better candidate than Obama. And I think that most who are saying "anybody but Obama" realize that ANY of the candidates from the GOP primaries would have been a better choice.
72,544 West Virginia Democrats picked a Texas PRISON CONVICT over Obama .... so don't talk to me about fear.
