The market is due for its bear cycle every four - five years it corrects itself. I am more concerned about the upcoming recession. The cost of transportation has got to catch up and have its impact.

Historically, as the real estate market weakens, the stock market strengthens and vice versa.

Therefore, the stock market will probably continue on an upwards trend over the next couple of years.

The economy is in good shape with good and consistent corporate profits and relatively low inflation rates. Plus with corporate buybacks of their stock at record levels, companies themselves think their future looks good. That has to say something.

It was overdue for a major correction. I think the prevailing trend will be down for a few months. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the market or economy, so things should look ok again by summer.

Is today abnormal? I think that there are probably a lot more deets to analyze but if, in 30 days, there's a crash, its possible if all of the signs point to today.

Why did it drop?
