Lauren Odes says she was recently fired from a lingerie store for being "too hot," and now she's got Gloria Allred representing her. The busty 29-year-old claims she was asked to wear a bathrobe and tape down her breasts just a couple of days into the job. She complied with the bathrobe part, but refused to tape down her breasts, and was promptly fired, ABC Reports.

Forbes compares the case to Samantha Brick's awkward April article in The Daily Mail, in which the mediocre-at-best woman claimed women hated her for being beautiful. Odes is certainly chesty, but not exactly what you'd call a dime. She's currently filing a lawsuit against her former employers, claiming "religious and gender discrimination." But does her story even make sense?

Too hot to sell lingerie? No way. Fired because of the size of her breasts? Maybe. I'm not saying that I don't think she was treated unfairly, I do, I just don't consider her particularly "hot." Nor do I think there's such a thing as "too hot to sell lingerie."

Right - like H.R. didn't notice her fake jugs during the interview. Being a former H.R. rep, I know hiring the RIGHT person to represent your product(s) IS priority over just about everything. Anyone can claim "discrimination" - proving it is almost impossible. Having also worked directly with Victorias Secrets lingerie buyer, I know hiring the "hottest" (I really hate that stereotype) women possible would be preferred. I have a completely different take on what happened, and it is far from what this woman claims. Ten bucks says we will never hear what happened with this case, I sure wish the company she worked for would make sure we did. Why do people take sides without knowing the facts? She was NOT fired because of her looks, trust me. Soliciting sex with the male customers? VERY likely.

I'm just going by the information available. Never said I knew for sure. You could be right, but it's also possible that she worked with someone weird enough to fire her over her huge fake boobs. You just never know for sure till later.

I find it funny that she would be asked to cover up with a bathrobe, like that doesn't attract attention. If she was asked to cover her breasts then obviously they were popping out. To be fair, I wouldn't out on a robe at work, or tape my breasts either. They're not the ones who would have to rip that off your skin. She should have come in the next day wearing something that covered a little more, like what she was wearing in the video ! She's average, but thinks she's a hottie and now she's trying to get her 15 minutes of fame, which looks like it's probably backfiring on her.

I don't see how anyone could be 'too hot', given what they were selling. She is an average looking woman who wears too much makeup, but has large breasts. That isn't her fault, and it's not fair to make her dress more conservatively than others just because she has more to display than they do, which appears to be what's going on here.

This is a story about the right of a woman to wear what she wants to wear,and about human and civil rights. No place should be allowed to fire a person by the way they are dressed.She is attractive,and there is nothing wrong with showing off her attractiveness.Religious nonsense has no place in the workplace whatsoever.

For the most part I agree but for this sentence..."No place should be allowed to fire a person by the way they are dressed"...It's called a dress code and even though alot of times they're dumb, you can be fired for not following it. If you're supposed to wear a suit and tie at your job, of course they're going to have an issue when you show up in jeans.

I see the Ambulance chaser Gloria Allred came out of the woodwork to lend her assistance as usual. I do believe in this case the lady has a claim and was treated unfairly. Too bad she has to get a lawyer and the useless Dept of Labor is not there to help her.

She's o.k. but I've seen a whole lot of hotter women in my time. She "does" have a nice figure though. I don't think it was right that she got fired not taping up her breasts though. Sounds like the company has just opened themselves up for a lawsuit here.

The reality as it turned out was that she was trying to wear skimpy outfits (not professional attire for sales) in a warehouse area--the only excuse she had was that it happens to be a warehouse which stocks lingerie (but as it was also stated, "by her logic, it would be ok to show up in only brassiere and pantalets").

Of course, a clue already showed up to Odes being in the wrong (did Odes hire her, or did Allred show up on her own for the publicity? Doesn't matter, as she is another "Mesopotamian Weevil Eater" of sheer wrongness).
