Millions of conservative white people throughout the Bible belt believe Mathew 24:15: is about Obama.- "When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
They are being told by their Pastors that abomination of desolation really means Obama-nation...that's why they believe it says to let the reader understand right after it....
They believe this to be a sign from God because God is light and no darkness is in him meaning God made only white people in his image and gave them this land called America which is now being over run with false prophets from blacks such as Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton.

They believe that the White House is for white people. That why God deemed it the White House and Obama is black and got in because Satan is let loose for a little while in America to test their faith.

Many of these churchgoers actually believe that the White House is the Holy place and Obama is the one that is making it an Abomination = OBAMA-NATION .... Can it get any stupider then this?

it was in a special that aired on the National Geo Society channel...hey I was shocked and hysterical at the same time...the whole show wasn't about it...it was about antichists and end time signs and there are churches out there actually believing and preaching this...

It is extremely stupid, although I don't think that most of those who say it actually believe it. For most of them, calling Obama the Antichrist is essentially the same as calling him a Muslim, a terrorist, a Communist, a Nazi, or a belly button.

I'm not sure that I believe that there are millions buying this garbage, but my question is: Doesn't it violate their 501(c)(3) status to preach politics from the pulpit? Even if it didn't, Matthew 24:15 states that you'll see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place... I don't think the USA is the holy place. It's either Jersulam, the Temple on the Mount, or a church of some sort, but not the US.
"Obama-nation" "abomination" - what a laugh. Where are the rest of these people's brain cells at? Did they trade them for crack or something?

It is stupid to think Obama is the abomination of desolation. The abomination of desolation will be seen in Jerusalem. The Jews will be given permission to make daily sacrifices on an altar again... and then permission will be taken away, and something profane set up in place. It has nothing to do with the US presidency.
