Over 50% don't even know what a Founding Father is, much less who they were. We are doomed by such ignorance of history.

I could have used another option.

I believe the leaders of Western Civilization studied history and learned the lessons very well. Then they replicated them as close as they possibly could.

Never before in history has a great civilization fallen so quickly. Lets' look at what brought done Republican Rome -
    (1) the inability of the Roman Senate to make decisions..

Let's look at what did in the Roman Empire -
    (2) high taxes to support a massive bureaucracy.
    (3) massive debt.
    (4) inability to control her borders.

Anything look familiar to any of you?

Obama is a full fledged Communist. He is the one chosen to lead America further into Communism and has been doing so since taking office. Of course so was Bush... this particular stab at a take over was begun under Reagan with Greenspan. So we have been nudged to this point over the decades. Just hope in North America it is not so bloody as it was in Russia when 70 million white Christians were atrociously slaughtered.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." --Thomas Jefferson to Charles Yancey, 1816

"Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government;... whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights." --Thomas Jefferson to Richard Price, 1789

An enlightened citizenry is indispensable for the proper functioning of a republic. Self-government is not possible unless the citizens are educated sufficiently to enable them to exercise oversight. It is therefore imperative that the nation see to it that a suitable education be provided for all its citizens. It should be noted, that when Jefferson speaks of "science," he is often referring to knowledge or learning in general.
"I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. And yesterday, it has been an incremental process across both parties, building to the final dictator. And many of the people on here nodding their heads and saying YEP!, are going to perpetuate it and continue the collapse with this next election. The electorate is close to, if not already, hopelessly lost and hypnotized by corporate propaganda.

What a training ground in Chicago for Obama's indoctrination and I thought it was the cab drivers there were just saying "nyet" to their dispatchers, then getting lost when following printed map instructions. I printed it in English!

It's over, folks. After 100 years of hard work, freedom's enemies have rigged it so that we cannot escape. And there is no country left for freedom lovers to run TO. Might as well get used to those golden chains.

IT'S OVER ? Not for the Americans who still breathe the spirit of the forefathers

"I have not yet begun to fight": John Paul Jones
On September 23, 1779, Jones fought one of the bloodiest engagements in naval history. Jones struggled with the 44-gun Royal Navy frigate Serapis, and although his own vessel was burning and sinking, Jones would not accept the British demand for surrender, replying, “I have not yet begun to fight.” More than three hours later, Serapis surrendered and Jones took command.

Sadly, we have no such leaders today. Anyone with the temerity to try would fall victim to the Patriot Act and disappear into a dark hole somewhere. While I would LOVE to see all Americans take the Mayan Calendar as a countdown to freedom, and to spontaneously overthrow the government in one fell swoop, I don't expect it to happen. Will you die with me?

Don't look for hero's . The minute men of yore merely awaited the moment to be called to action. Who were the leaders at Lexington and Concord ?
Individuals acting as individuals coming together with a common idea .
Such is the Tea Party , Grass roots and leaderless.
November 2012 is the next battle , Recruit and register , every vote is needed. .
