IS THERE A MILITARY COUP PLANNED FOR BARACK OBAMA?

You won’t hear about this on the news. You won’t see it on Fox, CNN or MSNBC. Your friends probably don’t know about it. Your family probably doesn’t either. It doesn’t change the fact that there have been rumors, mutterings and even columns on NewsMax.com that have claimed a significant amount of evidence for the potential military overthrow of Barack Obama.

And should anyone really be surprised? Barack Obama has the lowest approval ratings of any president we’ve ever seen among the troops. He has authorized the assassination of U.S. citizens and approved the construction of detainment camps as well as allowed for the FBI and the CIA to perform spying. The troops love freedom and fight to defend it, and yet president after president like Obama insists on taking it away. It’s like I’ve said before…if the troops were really defending freedom, they’d be attacking the government.

The article on EUTimes.com states that U.S. troops participating in war games with Russian troops discussed the potential overthrow of the Obama administration. When asked why, they stated reasons very similar to the ones why anyone might be upset with Obama.

This isn’t the first time the possibility of mutiny was mentioned. An article was posted on NewsMax.com back in 2009 but it was removed by the editors probably because they didn’t want to get in trouble.

HOW LIKELY IS MUTINY?

Well, it may be a little bit more likely than you think.

After all, there was a lot of evidence to suggest that rebels plotted to overthrow FDR back in 1933. There was also the Civil War just over a century ago, which by its very nature is a complete overthrow of the unity of the States and ended with the assassination of one of the most important presidents ever to live. Then also take a moment to consider the most recent assassination of our time, the murder of John F. Kennedy. It only took place a few decades ago. Have we really come that far since JFK?

And personally, I think JFK was a much better president than Obama. Imagine how the troops must feel.

History has proven that occasionally, when diplomacy and cooperation fail, a revolution must take place.

MY HOPE FOR THE FUTURE

My hope is that this mutiny does take place if Obama gets out of control. If he stays in office, it will mean more problems, but the alternatives aren’t much better. After all, did Romney come out and say we need an end to indefinite detention, warrantless spying or endless wars? Did he say we need to return to the Constitution and start following the rule of law again?

No, so in many ways he is not much different than Obama. The main things that offend the troops are the things that they agree on. The only candidate speaking out against these things would be Ron Paul, but of course, we can’t elect an extremist that would actually FOLLOW the constitution instead of just paying lip service to it.

Also, if this does take place, I hope and pray that it does so without bloodshed. I hate Obama but I’d rather see him step down from power humiliated by patriots who support the constitution than see him take a bullet to the head. It’d be much more satisfying to watch him live the rest of his life knowing that his country and the troops hate his guts and want him out of power for life and that the things he agrees with are not what this country believes in.

I’d say pretty much the same for Romney, minus maybe one or two details.

SO TROOPS, IF YOU’RE LISTENING…

Yes, America wants you to overthrow Obama. Yes, America wants you to return to the Constitution. And don’t think for a second that if Romney gets elected that it will automatically change things for everyone.

Because it probably won’t. He supports the same wars and the same violations of our civil liberties.

Do it without bloodshed if you can. I don’t want to see anyone get killed. But if it comes right down to it…take that man out of power.

The civilians had best take care of this instead of relying on the military. We got into this mess by expecting others to do the dirty work.

Obama works for the military industrial complex and he is is doing a damn good job! If there should be a coup the only army who should occupy the white house is the Ron Paul Army.! The primary was rigged in every state by the GOP. Romney is being selected not elected. This is getting real old people need to wake up!

I think Obama is likely to lose the election in November unless there is some serious shennanigans. Besides I don't think the military is going to go against the president (whoever holds that office) unless they have been ordered to harm civilians.

you need some serious help. you speak of returning to the law, yet you encourage a mutiny... in any hostile takeover, there is going to be bloodshed, so hoping that it doesnt happen is nothing but being blind. there are ways of doing things. im part of america and you DONT speak for me when you say that America wants you to overthrow obama. personally speaking, i dont like any of the politicians. i think the whole thing is self serving. and while i dont approve of the spying and the detention, there are still ways of doing things without mutiny.
you think the military taking over will be better? who will be in charge then? One man in the chain of command is what it will end up at. and that man will be the one who was willing to overthrow the government because he didnt like it. now he's backed by alot of power... what happens if he doesnt like you. what if he doesnt like your ideas, he is in control now and has the military power to back it up.
our soldiers may not things that are going on any more than we do, but they have a duty to follow their commander in chief, they have a duty to the laws of this nation that they are trying to protect.
now i understand that the laws are being abused by the people in power. but if this country is to survive, then we cant just start having mutiny's and military coup's. who knows where that downward spiral would end.

    I think it's a bogus claim.....and more fear mongering.

Thankfully we are still a nation of laws and a country bathed in freedom, rather than one of oppression such as Russia, who has had, and continues to have, tumultuous times. I do not believe a coup of any kind is going to happen.
I know my fellow Marines would in no way, shape, or form, either sanction nor participate in such an undertaking.

In this nation, despite the malaise with some and their voting, we believe in letting our vote do our talking. There is NO better country on the face of the earth IMO, despite our political differences. I don't ever see a coup happening.

This is something different. This is a "Seven Days in May" scenario.

How many will be FIRED because a gay commander didn't like the Response from a Conservative under him?

In my 60 plus years I never thought I'd consider this a viable option!!! Hmmmm, and why has Homeland Defense and other Government entities been ordering/stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo??? What is Obama and his appointees planning for???

Yet during Katrina our military went literally door to door taking away peoples guns that is a very clear constitutional right. Sorry, I am not convinced our military is committed to preserving our constitution. If martial law was enacted our military would be put out on the streets enforcing our loss of liberties and rights. Our republic is our government. They give the military it's orders. The military defends the government. Your oath is to defend America from enemies foreign and domestic. If the government deems the citizens its enemy (domestic), well then the military is going to go after who they are told the enemy is. Soldiers follow orders. I was Army. I support our military, but at the same time I know our military can be used against us. It's disturbing.

That was the LA National Guard, NOT Federal troops. (BTW, I was there with the 82nd Airborne), and what your fellow anti-government types on their happy little blogs fail to report is that all those personally owned weapons......were returned.
Martial law is not going to be declared....so un-bunch your fruit of the looms.

You may fantasize all you like that your tyrannical government is frothing at the mouth to put troops on street corners.....But it's your overactive imagination and nothing more.

And I LOVE how you "were Army" but seem to have the commonly held civilian oppinion that we are all just robots waiting to be told who to kill.

A lawsuit by the NRA is what got them to give back guns. They made it a big hassle to get them back. Filling out forms. All the stuff they had to hand over to prove it was their guns was so over the top, that most just gave up. Criminal checks done on them before they could get them back. It was planned to have it be a pain that most people would just say it isn't worth it. They were all tested without warrants to see if they had been use in a crime. No forensic warrants, just did it anyway.

No, I just understand how the military is. Soldiers are not robots. They are just a part of an organization that follows orders. I am not putting you down. I am not saying you are wrong. Soldiers follow orders just like the top brass does. That is how it is run. .

No, he could not, and I judge people based on what they HAVE done, not what they "could" do.See, by YOUR standard, I could judge that you are quite capable of killing you husband/boyfriend in his sleep, and since I know you about as well as you know the President, I would be no more or less right than you are.

Yes, a war right before election. He can stop the election, and it is what he is probably going to do. He has to make it look like somebody else's fault tho. Like Israel maybe? He knows he is going down, and he is going to play dirty .Doesn't matter if he is going to put our peoples lives in danger. It's all about him and staying on top. He's too full of HIMSELF!!!

    HA!
    That's the best one yet!

Tell me, what are you going to say about your theory when it proves utterly wrong?
Who would this hypothetical war be with?
Further, how would a hypothetical war prevent his having to leave office if he's going to be voted out?.....The last President started and had TWO going and that didn't stop him from being voted out.

At what point did you decide to throw reason to the four winds, and start to believe such nonsense?

Then again if you honestly think the Israelies are the type to telegraph what they are about to do, then you are sillier than I suspected.
Trust me....if they are talking about it, then they arn't planning on doing anything any time soon.

Y'know.....that whole "element of suprise being needed" thing?

That this may not be such a far fetched scenario as you think, especially since there was a shake up at the top of the military recently with the president appointing several new generals.

An attempted coup with a splinter from the military backed by Blackwater should it look as though Obama will get a second term?

After all - I understand that the 1% are getting increasingly frantic... And it would certainly explain Biden's recent comments.
