Is there a Lib/Prog investment Company that does what Bain Capital does?

I ask because of the out cry against bain and their like. I have neither hatred nore love for Bain or any other Investment Corporation, or any corporation in general, but with all the circus acts digging at Bain I just wondered if there is a Corporation run by Leftist, Liberal/Progressive people who take over or buy out companys that are in bad shape, like GS Stell that was $500 million in debt and dying, and trys to turn them into profitable business.
I ask because we hear so much from these people about how failling companys and their employees diserve better than what happens when corporations like Bain get hold of them. The implication is that the Leftwing, Liberal/Progressive political groups know how to take a company, with $500 million in debt, and turn them around better than a Bain Capital can.
So is there a leftwing, Liberal/Progressive company that does that? or do they just lay back waiting for things to go bad, then jump on everyone else for not doing things the way they think things should be done?

A few weeks ago, some of 0bozo's own campaign staffers, who were also Bain investors at the time, came out in support of Romney saying he was not part of Bain's day to day operations after 1999 when he left to deal with the Olympics.
But I want to know why there ae not hard leftist doing this.
George Soros is also a heavy investor in U.S. and foreign companies and plays games, manipulating currency.
