I guarentee without a doubt after 2010 the Dems will sing the praises of the fillibuster as a tool in the fair governance of the people.
One thing about politicians their opinions change depending on which side of the fence they are on.
Is the U.S ungovernable?

This is rich. Liberals claim the filibuster must be reformed because the government can't function with it. It sounds to me like whining from a group of spoiled children who can't get their way under the current established rules. Is the U.S. ungovernable, or just hostile to liberal B.S.?

One thing about politicians their opinions change depending on which side of the fence they are on.
All they want to do is prevent any legislation being passed by the opposing party, purely for petty partisanship reasons.
And that applies not only to the Republicans, who currently oppose everything put forth by the Democrats, but also the Democrats, who oppose the policies of the Republicans.
There's no filibuster in the Constitution.
