Is the US government equivalent to a parasitic insect?

For example, it attempts expansion whenever an unavoidable tragedy occurs, like an accident with a gun, a cyclical economic recession, the unavoidable economic inequality between a group that experienced slavery and one that has built up wealth over time, an overseas war or dictator behaving badly, another country mismanaging it's economy and having mass refugees- the government is all over it, advertising expansion in order to "solve the problem".
This is comparable to a parasite faking problems and provoking the body to respond to these problems which only spreads the parasite.
The governments does this through gun laws(which never work but require expensive permits, government employees to verify those permits, and fines if the rules aren't followed), expansion of the Fed and move closer and closer to a command control Soviet style economy after every recession, reverse racism especially for federal jobs, creation of NATO and other illegal nation-less armies, and allowing huge numbers of illegal immigrants so the rich can have cheap maids instead of paying Americans a livable wage.
All these require a larger and larger government, which ironically creates more problems the government says it can solve.
