Our biggest threat is al Qaeda and has always been
We never had an issue with al Qaeda until we invaded Iraq.
The two are merging to fight us as one force.

    The Talaban controls 90% of the country and all of the drug trade. They came close to assassinating Bush's flunky Hamid Karsi a few days ago. I think its only a matter of time before they get him.

    The enemy of my enemy is my friend. This is how the Middle East is, and it is for this reason that we must stay and finish the fight. Otherwise we will simply end up with failed republics and the citizens that are stranded there will join with their new "liberator" Iran, Al Qaeda, Turkey, Syria, et al.
