Is the Republican Party 'Woman Friendly'?

The Democrats have the feminists. Plus, they have Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. But is one political party more "woman friendly" than the other? Republicans and conservatives in general tend to like to keep things traditional but does that mean they are not friendly to women? The latest CNN opinion poll show the GOP is in fact very woman friendly - what do you think?

The Republicans have done nothing but attempt to infringe upon women's rights. In the past two years alone, Republicans have done the following:

1) Passed over 1000 state and federal abortion restrictions
2) attempted to redefine rape
3) tried to pass a federal conscience amendment which would allow doctors to put women on the street out to die rather than perform a life-saving abortion
4) attacked the legislation which guarantees equal pay for equal work to women

Label this campaign what you will, but if this isn't a war on women, what is?

Votes against the Lily Ledbetter act,cuts in social programs for single mothers,governing a womans reproductive rights,and re-defining rape are only a few of the reasons I think this way.

My state is suffering badly on economy issues all around the board God willing Mitt Romeny wins the president race. I am not from flordia it just ottomaticaly did that on sodaheads.

But if Obama does get re-elected my entire sate will break away from the U.S.A. we cannot afford for 1 more year like these past 4 years have been.

If I were the Democrats I sure wouldn't want everyone to know that I have Pelosi, Clinton or Debbie Wasserman Schultz on my side. I could name a few more like Michelle (for the first time in my life I'm proud of my country) Obama, but I think that you get the picture. I accidently lost your reply to me about Romney's position on rape, so I'll reply here. Romney supported the fetal personhood bill, which would give rights to a fertilized egg and makes no exception for rape and incest. It would also outlaw some forms of birth control and in vitro fertilization.

Democrats are not women friendly, the democrats try to force a girl or woman to kill her own child once she trys to leave a abortion clinic. They wont let her go.

Those things you're mentioning have to do with his financial policy, not his social policy. The conservative social policy is not and doesn't seem to be changing it's degrading view of women.

If he can read minds, he should go to Vegas or any other state that has legal gambling. He'd win a ton and pay some big taxes on his "earnings. Maybe I wouldn't be forced to subsidize so many people I don't even know and my tax bill would go down.

If you can't make the simple connect between Democrats and Planned Parenthood, you are talking out your nether parts. Just check out the original purpose of PP, look at their current record of abortion referrals to referrals to adoption agencies. It's NOT "Planned Parenthood". It's planned killing, planned abortion (murder) subsidized by the Federal Government.
