Most people are honest, most small business people are honest, but the larger and older the corporation the more likely it has had to adopt manipulative and dishonest practices to keep ahead of its competitors. Those corporations like the Standard Oil businesses, the Ford Foundation, Bechtel, etc. seek to influence the White house because their profits depend on it.
