This is hilarious new video of an exchange between White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs getting into it with CBS' Chip Reid, who accuses the administration of trying to tightly control today's Healthcare "Town Hall" event. Gibbs tries to play it off, but veteran White House correspondent Helen Thomas jumps into the fray to defend Reid's accusation, adding: "I’m amazed at you people who call for openness and transparency…It’s a pattern of controlling the press. Your formal engagements are pre-packaged."

Brown nosing "media" is almost as nauseating as Obama. Nothing I hate worse is that yo yo's that haven't a real clue about what is going on in the government politically----and write about it as if they believe all that the sock puppet is preaching about is for the best of all of the people that watch their newcasts, read their newspapers, and listen on the radio. The news has become so spin happy with spinning the weaver's stories that it makes me dizzy to listen or watch the news.

One of these days even the media will "get it," glad to see that Fox got it a long time ago!

From this video it looks like yes but its only because there are getting left out of the process to prove my point the press is so busy with non issues like Michael Jackson and not about CAP & TAX or employment issues and deficit spending and for the fact that obama is hiring actress to play as a nurse instead of listening to a real one on health care

I read the "A Slobbering Love Affair" and it is right on. The media elected Obama and couldn't possibly abandon their guy now - especially since all the racists in the country are giving him grief for his asinine policies. The media has Obama's back...side.

Obama camp relies heavily on propaganda, misinformation, and the suppression of truth. They spent ¾ of billion dollars on propaganda to dupe the voters. And the media lied. They portrayed a wolf as a shepherd. Some were bought, but most simply lied because of ideology. People swallowed all their lies uncritically. It became vogue to make fun of Governor Palin when in reality the only joker in this race was the media's naked emperor. Is the fact that Palin has not travelled the world funnier than the fact that Obama travelled to all the 57 states of America? By the way, there are 57 Islamic states, in case you wondered where that number came from.
