Is the London Olympic Logo Racist?

If you squint real hard and flip it on its side and … well, it’s hard to see it either way, but Iran’s Olympic secretary general thinks the official logo for the 2012 London Olympics is racist.
There have been plenty of complaints about the font-fail logo, which has been criticized for looking kind of like a swastika, accused of harboring images of characters from the Simpsons getting it on and, in its animated form, triggering seizures.
But now Iran is threatening to boycott the games over claims that the logo resembles the word “Zion,” a biblical term widely recognized as a reference to the city of Jerusalem. According to The Huffington Post, the secretary general of Iran's National Olympic Committee said that his nation sent a letter to International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge claiming that the image is racist and offensive to Iranians.
"There is no doubt that negligence of the issue from your side may affect the presence of some countries in the games, especially Iran which abides by commitment to the values and principles," read a letter sent by secretary general Bahram Afsharzadeh, which urges other Muslim states to oppose the "racist logo."
Lest you forget, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for Israel's destruction multiple times in the past and questioned the Holocaust in the past, while an Iranian swimmer refused to compete against an Israeli at the 2008 games.
The IOC said the charges were absurd, pointing out the logo shows the numbers 2012 in jagged figures, since, you know, it’s the 2012 Olympics.
"Our response is as follows: The London 2012 logo represents the figure 2012, nothing else," the IOC said, noting that the logo has been in circulation since 2007.

The olympics would be held in Poland. A Jewish Chinese woman wrestler would take Gold by beating Iran's best Catholic Male homosexual wrestler And both countries would celebrate with gunfire in the air all nite long.
The mascot should be fuzzy and cute. These mascots scare children.
They look like something that walked off of a Dr.Who set.
