Is the leftwing media bias obvious in the way that they have handled the gas price crisis under Bush as opposed to the way they look at gas prices under the Obama Presidency?

In this video politicians say that George Bush is actually in bed with the oil companies and conspiring with them because gas prices have doubled. They used the claim that Bush and Chaney were corrupt because of gas prices to seize political power. Now that they have more than doubled again under Obama the media has actually created lists of why higher gas prices are good for us. And in a clip Obama is laughing hysterically because someone doesn't drive a hybrid.

Of course, they are ... proven many times over. It's not on purpose, just where most of the media folks have come from and been taught in college.

Just this morning, Soledad O'Brien (CNN) complained Romney should have taken the birthers straight on, like McCain. She quoted her mother, that you are like those that associate with you. SAY WHAT Soledad, what about names like Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and his Harvard day. Just typical.

Lets see how far a nation progresses without an Energy Program. As most people would not know nor pay attention to ships carrying crude are on a steady stream into the Gulf Coast. The demand will never stop for the byproducts of crude oil. It effects all Americans no matter your political stance. All energy can work hand in hand. That is what we need as a nation.

When the unemployment rate was 5% under CLinton he was the HERO of the century.. 5% meant that the U.S. had a healthy economy,, a virulant job force and all was right with the world.. When Bush had 5% it was the end of the world.. He was STARVING Americans because thy weren't working and he shuld be tossed out of office like a homeless bum..

And the Homeless.. Ever notice that it ONLY becomes a problem under a Republican President?? NOBODY ever mentions the homeless when the President is a Democrat..

Now,, by ANY and EVERY standard that can be applied,, things are worse today under Obama then at any time in my 60+ years except perhaps for the Carter years and what does the Media do?? I actually hope gas prices keep going up so that the American consumer can open their eyes and see what they are doing to themselves and the environment. Instead of "Drill Baby Drill" we should be "Clean Baby Clean". Drilling and consuming the way we are today will drain all the world's oil reserves by 2050 and the whole planet will be out of whack through climate change. (you have to be ignorant not to see that increased consumerism=increased production of goods=production of green house gases as a byproduct of production=warmer sea water=stronger hurricanes). Its like getting a tatoo; you get a job, your boss finds out, then you get fired. Americans need to stop thinking "here and now" and move into a "In what way will this affect me and my family down the road" mentality. When I see conservatives talk on Fox News network, pretty much all they
is the raising debt...My question to that is that you want your children to inherit climate change instead? Financial problems can solve itself in a period of 50 years or less through the right investments, but the Earth's Climate, that takes thousands of years to repair. Now I'm done, questions and/or comments?

Gas was $1.81 a gallon the day Obama took office (national average). Today it's $3.63. That's a 200% increase. But Romney will do no better. The only chance to save us all is to finally go 3rd party. I have not forgotten that gas spiked. Due to war and Hurricane Katrina. Gas has dropped about 15 cents this spring. And now it's only 200% higher than it was when Obama took over. Bush and Cheney were oil men but Obama was not. Also any upheaval in the Middle East can cause gas prices to rise and those two little wars in the middle of oil country did not help the consumer of oil but might have benefit the oil speculatiors. MSNBC makes not bones about being liberal but then they do not claim to be a new outlet either. They are a political opinion station. CNN is more balanced but not by conservative standards because conservatives only like their news from Murdock News Station and they do not own up to their agenda.

And if your theory were correct,, the price of oil ( and gas) would have shot up on the day of the invasionof Iraq and STAYED there.. It DIDN'T.. A FEW of the things that are different TODAY then they were the day before Obama's election IS Obama's election and the price of gas,, the number of people out of work and a National Debt that has risen in THREE YEARS more then it did in 8 years of Bush.... For ALL practical Purposes,, the war in Iraq was all but over and by YOUR reckoning,, the prices SHOULD actually be LOWER today if what you're saying were true and the gas prices were ALL Bush's fault..

And BTW.. CNN stands for Cable NEWS Network.. They DO claim to BE a News Network but they LOST much of their credibility during Katrina when they reported 10,000 bodies floating in the streets of New Orleans and 2500 bodies stacked up in the Superdome.. They have CONTINUED to lose ground ever since..

It's wasn't FOX NEWS that damned CNN to the ratings sewer and it wasn't their "opinion" shows.... It is the COMPLETE lack of TRUTH in their NEWS reporting..
