Is the economy set to ferociously recover if the Supreme Court bitch slaps Obama tomorrow and his economy killing Mickey Mouse health care plan?

Simmering Frog 2012/06/27 23:36:38
It will be the first step in an economic recovery.
Nope. We need free health care for anyone and everyone who shows up in America.
You!

It will not suddenly recover with the repeal of Obamacare; we need a complete overhaul of our government: we need a budget passed; we need tax reform and regulation reform; we need a government that stops spending just because it can take more money away; and we need real reform to our social programs.

Glad you hit me up again, meant to rave your tax argument even I see it a bit differently, you provided good source work and the fundamentals of enlightened discussion!

I have read this before and completely understand the original intention, and also that the road to hell is paved with the very best of intentions!

The bubble, or over inflated property values, was rearing it's ugly head in the late 1990's. Many provisions were added to this bill in the 90's by Clinton and I was able to buy a house with ZERO down and not much of a credit history. What did that do to the supply of buyers on the market, and we all know how that affected value. While I made the best of it, many people I know did not.

I am not excusing Bush for his inaction on a fundamentally flawed idea, but merely pointing out that I lived through and experienced first hand what was happening.

Another example of the incestuous relationship between banks and politicians.

Another fine example of the failure of government overreach!

Having Oslimecare gone will do wonders for small businesses and they may even start to hire. I think the big recovery will start after Obama gets his lying narcissistic ass throwin out of the White House in November.

Some day reality may set in for you. Right now there's no jobs, a failing economy, increase in health care costs from a bill no one read or understood, increase of 41% in food stamp recipients, GDP not growing, massive debt, and total liberal ignorance of all of it from Obamabots.

The great thing for Obama is that he spent so much during his first year in office--partially thanks to the help of the Republicans--that he doesn't need to increase spending to stay far above the previous years spending levels.

year office--partially republicans--that increase spending stay previous years spending levels

You can go to blogs all you want; the data I posted above is the actual spending based on government data.

You can check the source if you'd like; I won't argue with you about it--the data is the data--interpretation is up to you.

For the economy to recover, people need to spend more money, so businesses will have to hire more employees.

And they're not hiring employees because like Nancy Pelosi said, "We have to pass the bill (Obamacare) to find out what's in it!"

Politicians have a keen sense of how to make bad situations, Worse. Someone will find a more expensive program to throw all that money into.
