Is the economy set to ferociously recover if the Supreme Court bitch slaps Obama tomorrow and his economy killing Mickey Mouse health care plan?

Simmering Frog 2012/06/27 23:36:38
It will be the first step in an economic recovery.
Nope. We need free health care for anyone and everyone who shows up in America.

It will not suddenly recover with the repeal of Obamacare; we need a complete overhaul of our government: we need a budget passed; we need tax reform and regulation reform; we need a government that stops spending just because it can take more money away; and we need real reform to our social programs.

It will help, but is only a small first step.

it will be a tiny step forward but defeating Hussein in November will be a giant leap for mankind.

It's a step, but it's only one tumor in the spread of an incredibly malignant cancer.

A very small step. What we need is to get rid of Obama, his administration and reverse most if not the vast majority of his regulations that are stifling this nation's recovery.

You mean a step towards certainty in the tax code and what rates businesses are going to be taxed at? Yeah, that should help!

I see that the taxes are based on percentages of GDP, and not really seeing the breakdown between tax revenue collected between corporate and non corporate business.

Buffett has government help maintaining his position and is a prime example of the incestuous relationship between the wealthy and the political class.

Why do you really think Keystone was vetoed? I'd be willing to bet a large reason is the man you are citing.

No, it certainly would not have. Have you noticed what has happened to the prices of natural gas since the supply has been dramatically increased by the conservatives in ND?

» By helping to lock in US dependence on fossil fuels, Keystone XL will impede
progress toward green and sustainable economic renewal and will have a chilling
effect on green investments and green jobs creation. The green economy has
already generated 2.7 million jobs in the US and could generate many more.

Your biased study lost me right there. They began to lose me at 2,400 construction jobs...I have traveled through the upper Midwest and seen the boom created by pipe liners...the small towns need that shot in the arm and it's doing much more for them than the net loss of green energy jobs that can't survive without huge subsidies stealing jobs from the productive.

Take a peek at ND, I go through there all the time. They have more jobs than people, and it's because of comprehensive policy and smart leadership, the kind of courage not found at Cornell or in Washington.

It must take great faith to be a progressive, believing the opposite of what real results are!

Where are the jobs? I see lots of temp work, a few windmills and transmission lines! I live in MN, born and raised, live by Brainerd, work in the Cities and don't see much of a recovery. ND is booming!

Unemployment isn't low. Underemployment isn't low. That's why the Labor Force Participation Rate is low.

    This isn't that difficult.

Yes, the economic woes, losing 750,000 jobs a month when Bush left office, was caused by the health care plan from 2010...

By allowing unqualified buyers into the market. I bought a house in 1998, a year after graduating high school with ZERO down! The housing bubble was really starting to inflate as houses and land were beginning to skyrocket.

Bush wasn't elected yet. So that's WTF it has to do with our current problems.
