Is the DOJ and Media Matters joined to LIE about news to get Obama re-elected?

Charge 2012/09/18 16:02:16

Newly published emails show the top spokeswoman at the U.S. Justice
Department regularly collaborating with the liberal advocacy group Media
Matters on stories that slam the administration's critics.

The emails, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and
published by The Daily Caller, often show department public affairs
chief Tracy Schmaler communicating with Media Matters bloggers.
Sometimes, the emails were in response to inquiries. Other times,
Schmaler was pitching ideas, according to the Caller.

In a January 2012 email chain, Schmaler sent a Media Matters writer
lines from House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman
Darrell Issa's comments at a recent hearing. She reportedly underlined
passages where the California Republican tries to explain the difference
between Operation Fast and Furious and other anti-gunrunning operations
under former President George W. Bush.

Hours later, an article appeared on Media Matters' site titled "Rep. Issa Ties Himself in Fast and Furious Knots."

Lame stream media is on Obama's payroll, American can no longer trust them to report the truth. They are completely worthless in suppling unbiased news to Americans. You can get better information from foreign news outlets.

Of course they are... btw George Soros backs Media Matters! Agencies and appointed officials, just like elected officials, should NOT be scripting lies, covering up truths and squelching the news that American people need to hear. This is another sign that Obama is moving to full Dictatorship!

  • susan 2012/09/19 13:48:25 (edited)
Certainly appears to be the case. Not surprising, since the DOJ under Eric Holder has considered itself above the law and operated like Mafia thugs. Sorry for insulting the Mafia by the comparison.

I'm starting to believe Mitt Romney is the biggest reason why Obama might get re-elected.

  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/19 16:56:29 (edited)
No, what Romney continuing to say, and he's sounding a like Sharon Angle in getting his foot in his mouth. Romney lost my vote two weekends ago, when he told everyone that Paul Ryan made a mistake for voting for the 2011 budget. If Ryan didn't sign it, the Pentagon would have seen a 1.2 trillion dollar cut to their budget. I understand why Ryan did it, but the way Congress has our bills set up is so incorrect, and this is the reason why nothing gets done. Riders, and everything attached to them, and thought this wasn't going to happen according to the 2010 House republicans. In any case, Romney lost my swing state vote. BTW, I'm not a
Obama fan, and not voting for him either.
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/19 17:19:57
Voting for the 2011 budget bill, Voting against the bill were 59 Republicans and 108 Democrats. The Republicans were against on the basis that there were not enough cuts.
Further the budget did not address any of the outstanding problems with jobs and was done simply as a stop gap measure; so you decide not to vote for Romney because he wants true reform.... weak indeed.

Military....I'm retired Military, and that would have messed with my benefits...did you serve, and give 20 years to Uncle Sam? I hope you served a few years, or you need take a back seat on this one.
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/19 20:34:34 (edited)
Yes, I served 1966 to 1972, US Army.
The Only candidate to suggest a cut in Military benefits is Obama, he would cut tri-care and pensions. Romney has already pledged not to cut benefits.
  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/19 23:47:58
if Romney can say the Budget Ryan voted for was wrong...I can't believe anything he says anymore. Plain and simple. If you served six years, why didn't you serve out?
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/20 16:34:43
The budget approved did nothing but kick the can down the road... if withh all of the failures of Obama, including military and foreign you would vote for him I don't believe that is your reason.
Why I got out is none of your business, no offense.
  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/20 17:25:02
The budget was to save the military budget at that time, and I gave my 20 years to our country safety. I don't use my military benefits, but a lot of my buddies need it, and cut of the budget would have affect them dearly. The way I look at it, Romney believe my friends who had limb blown off are just apart of the 47%, I might be wrong on this statement, but Romney words were very straight forward.
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/20 17:29:10
Bull, Romney has always made it clear he would protect military benefits from day one and would strenghten the military, not cut it as Obama IS doing.
There has never been a military cut supported by Romney; however Obama not only is cutting military spending but is cutting military retired health care.
  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/21 04:04:28 (edited)
When Romney said PaulRyan was wrong to signed that bill... meant. the military is game for a cut. Logic says this. Both of them (obama and Romney) are complete fraud machines, but Romney fumbling in his, and can't figure out what to say.
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/21 13:58:55
You are just repeating Liberal talking points, the government extension bill had a lot more then "possible" cuts... it was to avoid a government shut down, not to avoid military cuts; Obama has already put large military cuts in place.... stop your BS.
  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/21 14:58:58

Well this weekend, in an interview with CNN, Obama admitted that his campaign advertising is false and misleading when it comes to Romney.... Obama says, "That's politics"... Maybe he should have said Chicago politics.
  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/24 16:07:30
Their both fabricators, and you have admit that. The problem I have with Romney, he flipped flopped on Abortion, I'm a Mormon like Romney, and this is one of the biggest issues our church has against the Wade vs Roe. All this time, I thought he was against this legislation, but video shows otherwise.
Have you ever wondered why Mormon family are so large?
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/24 16:49:12
So you say that people can't 'find another road' and change their mind.... Obama sure has.
  • banzaib... Charge 2012/09/24 18:20:13 (edited)
Not on religious core values. Romney was a full-time missionary, and later became bishop of the church. As a missionary, you're a full time representative of the church, and this is the what you represent. We have oaths, that we make before any callings from the church.

Again, this was a religious core value that every Mormon has, and I more than question him on this issue because of what he said. I don't trust Obama, but I have more reservation on Romney because of this.
  • Charge banzaib... 2012/09/24 18:29:31
Well if you have one person you don't trust and another that has changed their mind which gives you reservations, I see a path there.
