Is the Bill Maher/Politically In Correct show, really the "I Love Obama Show"?

I watch Bill Maher every once in a while and all he
seems to do lately is defend President Obama whom personally I admire,
but Bill Haher is getting obnoxious about it. He seems like he would actually get on his knees and pleasure Obama if he asked. I realize that
Hollywood
is very political. If you are not on the right side of the power in
Hollywood,
you are screwed, unless you have your own money to make films or to get films
made.
Hollywood
tends to swing from left to right and right to left. It’s all very complicated
and it does affect the art of film making. Ninety nine percent of the movies
made are pretty bad and not worth watching. I find that Journalist and add Bill
Maher to the list, are very phony types of liberals. I am an Independent but
lean toward liberal, because of growing up very inner city. I am also very right
wing when it comes to National Defense and NASA.

Journalist these days on CNN for example try to act
the part of liberal but many come from rich families and are just acting
liberal, because in the world of
journalism its cool to be liberal.

Many journalists cannot even cover it up; I see them slip all the time. They
have a huge problem with identifying with the problems of the average person.
Bill Maher defends the President to a point that if I were Obama I would call
him and tell him to shut up. Many times, he doesn't even realize how stupid he
sounds. One time he was comparing the deficit between the Bush administration
and the Obama administration.. The deficit when Obama took over was 10 Trillion
it was about 5 trillion when Bush first went into office. It went up 5 trillion
because of the war on terror. Bush ended with a 10 trillion dollar deficit.
Obama already made the deficit go up to 15 trillion. It went up 5 trillion
under Bush in 2 terms, in only one term of Obama it went up 5 trillion to 15
trillion, and he is not done yet. The President is a good man but he needs to
really get his act together on jobs and the deficit if he wants a second term.

The deficit went up 5 trillion in 8 years under Bush who was fighting two
wars and repairing NYC and the Pentagon. Under the Obama administration in just
four years, it went up 5 trillion.

So what the hell was Bill Maher talking about?

Debt relative to GDP rose due to recessions and policy decisions in the
early 21st century. From 2000 to 2008 debt held by the public rose from
35% to 40%, and to 62% by the end of fiscal year 2010.[12] During the presidency of George W. Bush, the gross public debt increased from $5.7 trillion in January 2001 to $10.7 trillion by December 2008,[13]
due to decreasing tax rates and two unpaid wars. Federal spending under
President George W. Bush remained at around 40% of GDP during his two
terms in office; however, the combination of less tax revenue, two wars
and a financial meltdown in 2008 sent the public debt skyrocketing to
63% during Barack Obama's first two years as equipped. In 2010, prior to
Republicans taking control of Congress, spending decreased by 2%. Under
President Barack Obama, the debt increased from $10.7 trillion in 2008 to $15.5 trillion by February 2012,[14] caused mainly by decreased tax revenue due to the late-2000s recession and stimulus spending.[15]

He's nt a journalist first off he is a comedian who often is critical of Obama. However like many when faced with the threat of Romney he became more willing to overlook Obomas flaws

I didn't mean he was employed as a journalist or that he was, I meant that he doing the same type of subliminal messaging like journalists have been doing in his case not so much subliminal. Thank you for commenting.

Bill Maher is not a journalist...he is a failed comedian. He is neither funny or informative, he is a shipwreck of a human being.

So when did we start defining a comedian who has their own series and sells out theaters as "failing"?

Sales out theaters? In what parallel universe does that happen? Must be an East Coast thing, we wipe our butts with better than Maher where I live.

Real time with Maher consistently has less than a million viewers....I would hardly call that a success, sounds to me like it cost the network money to keep the troll employed.

If we're ranking TV shows by amount of viewers, then Jersey Shore is a masterpiece.

One good thing about the Maher show, after a couple of minuets into the show you pretty much know what he is all about and can turn it off.
I agree there is nothing subliminal about his message. He is in your face ignorant!
In all fairness though, I turn off all people like this regardless of their political leanings.
