Is the ACA really affordable?

I received my health insurance renewal estimate today with a description of the increases imposed by Obamacare and the democrats. The ACA is anything but affordable. For my wife and the new premium is over $13,000,00 for catastrophic coverage only with a $10,000.00 deductible for each of us! This is up 40% from last years. So now we can't afford insurance! The exchanges do not work and we have now become uninsured thanks the the ACA!

It is a joke like Medicare was when it started.
If this is a tax like the SC said it was then it had to start in the House and it did not.
    It is unenforceable.

Compare reductions to all the new taxes one will have to pay to implement and run Obamacare. ERROR-ERROR-DOES NOT COMPUTE-DOES NOT COMPUTE-ERROR-ERROR........

You can keep your insurance if you want

Hate to accuse you of lying, but...

Have you gone to the exchanges and looked at the variety of plans? I think not. Just went on the OR website and put in criteria for 2 non-smokers age 61, living in Portland.

First of all, there are no catastrophic plans available at that age.

Second, the range of deductibles for the Bronze plans is $3000 - $6350.

Third, the cost for the plan is $728 - $1076 per month.

Fourth, if you make $55,000/year, your premiums would be reduced by $449/month. If you make $30K your premiums would be reduced by $696/month.

This is not unaffordable. Your claims are contradicted by the facts.

He's a libtroll. Probably getting paid with our tax money through one of Soro's companies to sit in his mommy's basement (liberals have to live underground in Texas) wearing footy PJ's and spewing liberal propaganda.

What a moronic response. I am not the one posting lies about $10K deductibles and unaffordable insurance. I am posting facts, as opposed to the ocean of lies spewing forth from the know nothings of the GO(T)P and their idiot followers. Did you bother to check the data? Of course not. You would rather just close your eyes and pretend.

And who pays the reductions? How can a government already in debt pay these reductions? They don't, we all do. Nothing is free as the government gives with one hand (reductions) while taking with the other (higher taxes to cover Obamacare). Obamacare has nothing to do with affordability. Nor does it have anything to do with healthcare because services will decline under it. My doctor, in his early fifties, retired 6 months ago because, I qoute, "The ACA will be a nightmare". He wanted nothing to do with it. It's all about power

I've known this forever, why do you think Pelosi said we need to pass the bill and then we can see what's in it? She knew it would piss off a lot of people and for all these people that just talk so good about it, lets come back in a year and see how they all feel.
