I suspect that this show was written and already in the pipeline before Obama came to office, and it's similarities are an accident, but also frighteningly sobering.

I do not believe for a second, ABC would take the first eight months of the Obama administration, and create an allegory intentionally.

I would be very surprised if this show wasn't cancelled quickly by guilt ridden protestors, or by Washington pressure, or both. You should tape this show before it vanishes into.."what show?"

Interesting selections to this question. I thought it was a complete revamp of the Marc Singer series done in the 1980's, and prep (read brain-wash) for the Genesis 1:2 former residents of this planet to openly show themselves. Just a thought.

Nah, with whatever obvious correlations may exist with the attitudes, this is a remake on an old story. The timing and similarity is definitely there, but the actual plotline itself wasn't created after Obama came in with the holier than thou attack any who disagree attitude.

-The fact that the "saviors" are aliens (poking fun at the controversy surrounding the Birth Certificate issue).

-The message of "hope" and "change" from the aliens.

i'm not totally sure, but there are striking similarities. and it is on abc...who knows.
i just thought it was hollywood once again running out of ideas so they resort to the old let's remake one that was already done. personally, i think i'll stick to the original made version. besides, i like marc singer :P

Well it might not be but Odumbo is masquerading as President of the United States.
And in one of the advertisements on the television one of the "V" people said "Don't ask any questions that will paint us in an evil light."
The Odumbo administration has just about said the same thin the way they control the news on the liberal stations.
Some of this points toward Odumbo's "change", well that is change I can live without.
