As I have said before, God loves everyone equally, He just dislikes the
thinks that we do. Lying is just as bad in his eyes as murder. We have
all fallen short of the ideal, but God in His infinite love and wisdom,
sent His Son, Jesus, to be the sacrificial lamb for us. All we need to
do is accept the free gift of grace that God has given to us. If He
refused to accept a homosexual that accepted Jesus, then He would be a
liar, and God is not a man that He could lie. Therefore, even if
someone does practice homosexuality, it does not exclude them from the
grace that He offers.

She is not correct in her statement. The bible says everything that God made was good. God made people in his own image which good. I do not condone (accept), practice, or encourage the gay lifestyle and I especially don't support the theory that God made them that way because that goes all against his holiness and sexual roles for men and women in society. According to Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 He created them male and female and told them to be fruitful and multiply (have sex and have babies). Homos cannot have children so the thing they do is not wholesome to life and fruition but God still gives them a chance to repent just like anyone else. If they don't repent they can't be saved.

JUST THE WAY I Interpret the bible , each person can allow themselves to interpret the bible accordingly as the Holy Ghost leads them --why on earth do you think there are so many different religions even among the Christians ? -- You can't corner the market on Christanity , my dear --you still have lots to learn!!

WOW doing battle with the faithful. Very brave! Of course it is fruitless because as you can read...They are frigidly judgemental with no logical reasoning AND they don't listen. They quote from a book written hundreds of years ago by men with agendas they will never know nor understand. And they were corn-fed these beliefs since infancy and will never question them until they themselves fall into direct conflict with those same cannons. Although I do find some enjoyment by poking at the loose strands of their logic from time to time, I have totally given up the pursuit of trying to make them see any reason. They don't have any logic about this, nor any use for it.

I would love to allow my favored sin what ever that may be to be accepted as ok, but we can't pick and choose which we think are ok and which are not. It is all by the BOOK!!!! IF You READ IT and study it , everyone was wicked in that city -- nothing to do with "JUST" gay people -- Everyone was having sex with everyone liars cheaters everything ( JUST AS TODAY ) --male and female-- No commetted relationships, although back in those days it was not a sin to have more than one wife.

"because their sin is very grievous" is what the text says. doesn't mention specifically what it was. but did bring attention to the fact that the townspeople (men) wanted to have sex with the "new guys" (angels). didn't really bring attention to any of the town's other sins. agree that there were many evils, but the whole section is focused specifically on homosexuality. also, in romans, homosexuality is called "vile affections." i have honestly always been confused by someone that states they are a gay christian. i thought the two were incompatible. everywhere i've read in the Bible, homosexuality appears to be severely judged by God.

Actually, in Ezekiel 16:49-50 (NIV) it says, "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen." No mention of sex at all, but certainly of arrogance, haughtiness and uncharitableness.

All of the Bible speaks of love, and my gay friends are the most loving people I know, and would give you the shirt off their backs if you needed it.

It says very little ..but it still says it is wrong....and Love does bridge this gap..but it doesn't allow for it to continue..Jesus says to turn from your sin when you accept Him as your Lord and Savior..repent means to turn around and go in the other direction.

He/she makes them in his image and not "junk", how did he make her? God makes every part of us. He/she loves us no matter what we are or what we do. No where in the bible does it refer to people as "junk". If any one is junk, it could be her exhusband.
