Limbaugh says 'The Dark Knight Rises' villain is attack on Romney

Rush Limbaugh sees left-wing conspiracy everywhere -- even Gotham City.

Speaking on his syndicated radio show Tuesday, the right-wing host brought up the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight Rises" (or, as he called it, "The Dark Knight Lights Up"), in particular focusing on its main villain, the Tom Hardy-portrayed hulking madman, Bane. With Mitt Romney's time at the investment fund Bain Capital (and the questionable time at which he retired from it) filling non-entertainment news headlines, Limbaugh tied the two together, casting some tough accusations at director Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros.

Anyone who knows anything about the movie business knows that a blockbutsr like a Batman movie is a 3-to-5 year project. And if anyone knows the 'history' of Batman, the Bane character was introduce in 1993, nearly 20 years ago.

So, I wonder. Has Rush gone crazy?

Rush has nothing to worry about! Nobody will remember Bane. All men (and some women) are going to the movie to see Anne Hathaway in (and hopefully out of) her Catwoman costume! That is all anybody will remember! What Romney has to worry about is the President running an ad featuring Anne Hathaway in her Catwoman costume saying: "If you vote for President Obama, I will spend the weekend with you." That's it folks! If that happens, the election will be over! President Obama may even get Rush's vote! LOL !

Rush knows his audience. He knows they have the IQ of a fruit fly and will believe anything he says, so he just throws all sorts of wild sheet out there to see if it will stick with them and usually it does. He has many millions of followers who cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. They are alive and well on this forum , too.

Of course we liberals have more. Like the anti-choice movement and the "intelligent" design idiocy and the repeated (33) attempts to undo Obamacare and the intention to continue the failed tax policies that got us into the financial mess the country is in, etc.

But this Bain/Bane business showed up on MSN.com and it was too good to pass up.

Frankly, I think Limbaugh is lower than whale crap and I am happy to hear that his ratings are falling and his sponsors are dropping him.

BTW - I think Romney must be hiding something so his tax returns are an issue. Remember that his dad released 12 years of tax returns when he made his run at the Presidency. Romney's failure to be open is a disgrace to his father's legacy.
