I think he wants it left up to the states. He was running for governor back then. As one GROWS older, you change your position on things sometimes. Where he stands now (from what I understand) is that he agrees with abortion for rape or medical reasons. But that is a personal belief. It has nothing to do with anything anymore. Why people want to make this an issue is beyond me. The Supreme Court has ruled and it will not be revisited.

Let's face it, Romney could not even get his taxes done on time THEN hide the rest I am not taking a chance on which FLIP FLOPPING FACE he is gonna show. Besides, odds are REAL GOOD he will outsource the DR's!!!! WE will have to go to India for health care.!!!

I will stick with the President and party that makes sure American Women have a SAFE choice. THIS is why President Obama will be re elected in 2012. American Women can depend on him, and he HAS a PROVEN record he backs what he says on this issue.

"Pro or anti" is a false dilemma in this case. Both "outlaw all abortions" and "allow all abortions, including late-term killing of babies that could survive in an incubator" are the opinions of monsters who failed to show up when ethical awareness was handed out. You simply can't turn this into a black and white issue, because both extremes are equally unethical.

As for Romney's stance, people have been known to change their opinions, sometimes solely for political reasons. Obama changed his mind on gay marriage, probably because his advisors told him that it would win him more votes than it would cost him. Romney might have had a change of mind for the same reason. Both might have calculated wrong.

You are so right on this. IT is a DANGER to this country and especially AMERICAN WOMEN to make sure this flip flopper does NOT get elected President. Him and HIS party have one goal for women and that is to put them back in the kitchen with kids. And no support for them at all.

He's claimed both in his lifetime. Right now he seems to be reaching out to the neo conservative base and they are against it, so if put to the question, right now, I think hed say against it to appease the neo conservatives. I could be wrong though.
