In response to President Obama's recent announcement that the US was going to stop deporting immigrants brought here as children, Several people including Sean Hannity have questioned Mitt Romney about his views on what should be done about people who came to our country illegally. In all cases, he has refused to say what his policies would be. The closest he has come to telling is to admit that "we do need a long term solution."
Mr. Romney has been running for president for years. And this has been an important political issue for years. He surely must know what his position is, yet he will not say. Could it be that he is not willing to tell anyone what he believes because he knows his views on immigration are unacceptable to Republicans, so he wants to have the nomination before any Republicans know what he thinks?

He is a republican. Republican in name only applies to those republicans who are elected and then their policies crash the economy. Other republicans will then say we need to double down on the policies and the candidate was only a rino. GW was called a rino after his policies were a failure.

A flip-flopping, out-of-touch, panty-waist aristocrat who will say anything that a particular crowd wants to hear at the moment. He runs away from his record in Mass where he supported many issues that the Far Right and TP'rs are dead set against. The Dems only have to bring out the videos and sound tracks from that circus of a Primary where his own Party defied Reagan's Eleventh Commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Speak Ill of Your Own Party".

Just look at the obama ridden debt clock. Scares the bejesus out of me. And no budget to speak of. Thanks ocraphead. www.usdebtclock.org

Under Bush, Brent spot was $147bbl. Today it's $89bbl. Under Bush gas was $4.00 in Miami, today it was $3.09. Under Bush, Every bbl was needed for the US and US oil wars. Under Obama, demand has dropped due to the end of the Iraq war, and American Oil is being sold on the open market once again. But don't let facts keep your knee from jerking.

Gas When Bush Left Office, $1.78 -- Gas Today, $3.64 -- Highest Average Price in Calif., $4.20

The average price for one gallon of unleaded gasoline has increased nearly every month since Barack Obama was inaugurated in January 2009. At that time, when George W. Bush was leaving office, the price was $1.78 per gallon. Today, three years and one month later, the average price is $3.64.

In addition, according to the average price data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, prices (in nominal dollars: not adjusted for inflation) peaked during Bush’s second term at $4.09 per gallon in July 2008 and then fell to $2.15 in November, when there was an election, and fell further in December 2008 to $1.68 per gallon.

When Bush entered office in January 2001, the price was $1.47 per gallon. (It peaked in Bush’s first term at $2.02, in October 2004.)

Under President Obama, prices have not fallen below $2.05 per gallon since April 2009, and the highest average price, so far, was $3.93 in May 2011.

    Nice try........

I root for America. For me that includes every American, including those without access to medical care other than the emergency room, and kids who go to bed hungry, and kids whose parents came here without documents, and a whole lot more. Republicans seem to root mostly for the top1%.

You believe many are buying your line of crap? Obama hasn't done anything to "CHANGE" it either. The expensive OBAMACARE money did nothing to insure anyone. Nothings changed yet, other then the cost he's occurred of which not one dime has gone to healthcare! As far as starving children goes, maybe if we secured our borders the "right" way, we could better afford those that are LEGAL!
Top 1%? Who do you think pays the majority of bills in this Country? The bottom 50% who contribute nothing? Where do you think the money comes from? ( this ought to be good!)

It used to be that corporations paid a third, the rich paid a third, and the middle class paid a third. Now the corporations pay 7%. And the middle class has seen their real income go down ever since the early 80's, thanks to Republican "trickle down " tax policies. That is why the 1% pay so much. They did it to themselves. And you want more of the same.

wee seeing as Obama has done this to Corporations I can see why they are leaving. Another 4 years of Obama and I'm gone and 400+ more will seek the unemployment ranks. You obviously don't know "trickle down economics".

Too bad he did such a poor job in Mass, ya think? He doesn't seem to want to "recall" his governing there. Outsourcing jobs, closing down manufacturing, having the "worst" record for job creating until Scott Walker came on the scene.

A helluva great candidate you're stuck with.

Wrong, but thanks for playing, bob.

Massachusetts had in 2003 through 2007 the 3rd highest per capita income in the United States . . . only exeeded by Connecticut and New Jersey (DC had the highest)
By the end of his term 2007, it almost moved into 2nd place.

    Hardly third world.
