Unfortunately he allied himself to a party that isn't about moderates. And he is a moderate.

I doubt his sanity because he actuallly thinks he's a republican when he isn't. Nobody who could have written Obameycare is a republican. So he's stuck with a party that already have their guns out against him. if only he'd realized that they are not like him, he would have realized that he is caught between the middle and his time is not now. But he has this "I've done everything and there's nothing left except to get the president under my belt." He sees the presidency as his next badge. He doesn't have any idea what being president is about.

Yeah he wasn't the Republican choice that is hurting him but once in the hot seat things tend to change, Clinton wasn't popular with his own party when he started being a little too middle ground for them

The article is wonderful and does not surprise me. After hearing the Romney testimonies at the RNC, watching his and Ann's mannerisms during interviews, I believe he is a true and down-to-earth person as he appears. We need to totally avoid the MSM this election time.

Romney is his own worse enemy. You can't fake his inability to relate, his stiff and awkward demeanor, and down right corny sense of humor.

Because of course, that's what leadership is all about these days. Never mind pointing this country back toward the Constitution and fiscal sanity. He's got to look good and tell great jokes.

That's your opinion, not mine. There are those who happen to agree with Obama. I know that's not what you want to hear. Romney is also in jeopardy of losing this election too...something else you don't want to hear.

The problem is that personality shouldn't be the driving force for the election, just because I shake more hands and smile more than you doesn't make me a better person than you. It just means that I have a more outgoing personality and the President needs to be a leader and a leader doesn't need to be outgoing and personable he needs to be able to make things happen.

That's not the only problem that Romney has. You have to be able to relate, or people feel like they have to be able to relate to you. If they can't, they won't elect you. Romney also has a problem with saying the wrong things at the wrong time. No media bias or liberal slant can make him do those things.

Of course he is. The Media who has their collective heads so far up Obummer's butt that they would all break their necks if he made a hard right turn......Just think of the reputation they will loose if Obummer loses??? Why no one would listen to them anymore......Whoops. no one does now.

Now that's funny. Because they never said a damn thing about the "tree" John Kerry or the Idiot Algore except telling them to wear natural browns and use Botox. I was a kid of about 12 and the man across the street was another one of those kind. Hell his backyard was all rows of Iris's and he had a herringbone walk from the street all the way around the house to the back fence and gate. He must have been a florist because at the corner of his back yard was a little shack where he must of done something to the plants to change the colors. Too say the least any baseball that went into that yard was lost forever. We didn't like him at all and at holloween we would throw shucked corn at his walk because he would be out there the next day taking out the bricks one at a time, leveling the sand, etc. I collect stamps and one afternoon Mr Clee called me over and said "I heard you collected stamps" He sat me on his porch swing and he brought out an album of all the stamps that the US had put out from 1912 until then 1964. His whole life when ever a stamp was issued he would go out and buy a sheet of 100. Well we sat there going through that book and he would ask "you got this one?? you got that one....Point is that he was my best buddy and I now because of him look for kids inter...

Listen, we both know that the voters have to be able to feel they can relate to you. That's with any office you are running for. You can take your approach, which will likely lead to the candidate losing the race. You can take the conventional approach of winning candidates, that is to relate to the voters and lay out a clear platform. Romney has no clear plan and makes himself appear to be a tin-man at the podium.

Romney is the equivalent of trying to get a guy to go on a blind date with a girl because she has a "good personality". Nine times out of ten she is very unattractive.

I think I answered the question by replying no, and adding that Romney does himself in by making the blunders that he does. No one told him to say what he did in London, the embassy deaths, and other social issues. No one put a gun to his head and made him read those things to the media. Romney doesn't need any help making himself look bad. All the media does is capitalize on what he says.
