    Here is what outlawing same sex marriage would mean: If a man wanted to marry a woman, law and society would feel fine and the marriage would be allowed. But if a man wanted to marry another man, law and society would refuse to let it happen. Why? For the sole reason that his partner is another man. You could raise the argument that two men or two women can't reproduce together. But with that logic, you couldn't allow an elderly couple to get married and you couldn't let an infertile person (male or female) get married to anyone.

    Because it would outlaw same sex marriage for both sexes. You could argue it's discriminatory (I wouldn't) but it's not sexist.
