With liberty and justice for all?? I don't think so any more. There are so many factions desirous of taking over (ie: UN) there are no guarantees. Also look how our justice system is being railroaded by a bunch of liberal judges with their own political agendas. Sure unsettles me.

It wasn't supposed to be, but it's more divided on values, race, and culture than ever - thanks to the current administration.

I agree with you but I am not sure the blame for divide can be laid at the feet of current administration. I think some of the responsibility lies with the populace.

It is held together by force. That gravity could fail, and there are signs that it could be soon. Militarizing government agencies and local police forces with federal funds has already happened, along with deployment to strategic positions nationwide, all in the name of homeland security. It is not terrorists that will feel the weight of these forces.
