We are talking about a mass murder of 300 people including a boarder patrol agent by the name of Brian Terry. Fast and Furious was a failed ATF operation that allowed 1,608 guns to fall into the hands of a Mexican drug cartel.
The effort, beginning in November of 2009, would come to be called Operation Fast and Furious. George Bush had been out of the White House for ten months.
On the evening of December 14, 2010, U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and others were patrolling Peck Canyon, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, 11 miles from the Mexican border. The group came across five suspected illegal immigrants. When they fired non-lethal beanbag guns, the suspects responded with their own weapons, leading to a firefight. Agent Terry was shot and killed.
Now that an investigation has been underway for 18 months over, 70,000 documents are being withheld by Eric Holder and the DOJ. President Obama's use of executive privilege is to prevent our Congressional oversight committee from asking any further questions. Is this what you call transparency?
