Is Obama trying to cozy up to Republicans for his relection campaign?

Just wondering because of Usama Bin Laden and now authorizing drilling for more oil in America...I think he's trying to look like a good guy and pull the wool over people's eyes!

Naw. For some reason he tries to hard to be bipartisan. You can't be bipartisan with radicals who lie to the American people all the time. The Republitards tell us that if we start drilling every where tomorrow that it will bring down gas price immediately. Now anybody with a half a brain knows it takes a couple years to actually start drilling even if they get the OK to drill right away. Also these same people know our oil is on the world market and is a drop in the bucket in the world market. But the Republitards are speaking to the low informed ( Fox), and hope they don't develop a half of a brain. So why does Obama try to appease these hateful radicals??? I never could figure that one out!!

Misdirection is a technique used when performing magic tricks by illusionist's.
It's also a mastered skill any good politicin has in their bag of tricks, and Obama is no different than any other grifter in washington D.C.
So yes, he is pulling out all the stops to get in bed with the republicans, and once he gets his job secured again, it's then he will yell rape and try to defame the republican party once again.
And the republican party does seem stupid enough to fall for it, as well as the american people for that matter.
So we will have to wait and see who is the bigger fool. The person who is the fool, or the person who follows him.

Obama will cozy up to anyone before election time. But people are all seeing this as it is the only transparent thing Obama has done. But as soon as the election is over.....under the bus you go. America is what Obama is really throwing under the bus.

I doubt the Bin Laden thing was to cozy up, if it was he probably would have waited longer. The drilling thing, maybe, I guess it is possible. I don't give a rap what he does anymore, he won't get my vote, I think he is the most horrible president in my lifetime. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, and I don't like being shamed.

Happily, he's too bright to cosy up to the nutters among the GOP/TP. That said, I'm no fan of increasing the drilling in either Alaska or the Gulf. But then, I'm not the president and don't have to make the kind of compromises any president does.

Of course, he would be an idiot not to. Democrats and Republicans have done it in the past and will continue to do so. But, I doubt that he's concerned about getting republican vote, because there will be none. He wants and needs Indpendents as will the republican nominee. Yes, ladies and gentleman, we independents control 20% of the vote and we can swing it one way or the other.

Conservatives should love Obama, and this isn't the first sign he's given that he's actually a conservative. His stance on the PATRIOT Act, torture, indefinite detention without trial, and military commissions were all clues. The fact that we're now dropping bombs on more countries than we were under W. Bush is a red flag, his corporate tax cuts, his stance on medicinal marijuana, his extensions of the bush tax cuts for the wealthy...i could go on.

Killing Osama bin Laden made Obama look strong on defense. He's allowing more drilling because he's afraid of high gas prices in November. He's not trying to cosy up with the GOP, Obama is doing it for himself.
