"Fully defeated by just anyone, the dark side cannot be, but only by the Chosen One. And who might be this Jedi? Know I do not, but not yet born is he or she. This much, sense I can. A vessel of pure Force the Chosen One will be, more powerful than any Jedi in history."

about as likely as i-
Wherever it's tried, the masses only get the money that the 'Party' doesn't have time to spend.
He most likely will be chosen [in future history books] as the most destructive president to ever occupy the Oval Office... Now that's a "yes" I can agree to!
This side...
Yet your parents "fudged" your application back then, so really... how much control would you have over what your parents did...
I just have to LMAO.. .sorry Murph! But a child doesn't have that much control over what happen when they were that young...
I can't believe so many fell into the birther trap...
---You may or may not have been born there, but "lets" say you were...
and you came back with that? Murph... you can't see why one doesn't take birthers seriously... right? Step back, you have a hidden attempt to make this into something it's not... and that's the problem with being a birther...
All I know is Obama is an American born in HI...
He may or may not gone to school in Indo, and his parents may have "fudged" the application... something he "never" had control of.
So why hold it against him?
Is it because of the Islamic "experiences" that he may have been introduced to?
Murph, I lived in Saudi for 3 years, by my choice... Do you hate me for that? Think about it...
You set up a scenario where someone is born on foreign soil and their parents "fudge" the certificate. Do not care if it is a girl or a guy. Not born on US soil, cannot become president. There are always consequences to actions. You may have no control over what you are able to unable to do due to someone else's actions - take it up with them. The consequences are you either can or cannot do whatever it was you wished to.
1. DO NOT LIE, period, end of discussion. "Fudging" is lying. You can try to sugar coat it, but if the law says no, you may not be president, boy or girl, if you are not born on US soil to US citizens, if your parents fudge your BC, they lied. That's it, game over.
I understand I take a harsh/hard position here; however, one is either trustworthy or they are not. If one lives with parents who "fudge," one may, repeat may, learn fudging is okay. Fudging and lying I see as the same thing. This person I would not trust any further than I can throw them. I may like the hell out of them, but will not trust them.
Sorry, I'm a tough old broad and lying and cheating are completely unacceptable in any circumstance. You either have the balls to take the consequences or you don't. If you (you being generic here) don't, get outta my face.
I didn't mention Obama at all.
No where did I mention born on other soil...
That's what your not getting...
---but "lets" say you were... (this is were your not seeing my viewpoint)
Meaning Lets say you were BORN here in America...
Now if you were BORN... here... in America... and your parents took you abroad... and wanted to enroll you into a good school overseas...
Would you???
A: Fudge the BC in a foreign country trying to make sure your kid was going to be enrolled in a safe school.
or
B: Not fudge anything, risking that your kid might end up in a school that not so healthy?
Remember that school systems over there aren't like ours... (think about it).
And you want to hold this against him....
LOL
Murph really try to take a step back on this....
Am I holding something against Obama, no. I don't think anyone except whoever is pulling the strings knows who this guy really is, including you. I don't trust him. Sorry, there's nothing you can tell me that will make me trust him. His bit about "the most transparent administration ever" was a crock, is still a crock and he's not at all forthcoming about himself.
For future presidents - if you're running for what used to be the most powerful office in the world, get ready to spill everything about your past. We, the people of the US, all of us, deserve to know where you were born, what you studied in school, what your grades were, when you pee'd last. And I do not care which side of the aisle you're coming from, get ready to spill your guts.
What am I going to do with you?
Have you ever lived overseas?
Walking your kid to school in a foreign country... interesting... Let me answer that "lived" overseas question... No you haven't lived that much in other cultures and environments...
So I don't know what else I can say to get it through to you...
Foreigners have to "make" arrangements for their kids education in the nation their living in... It's a big cultural difference Murph... and the kid has no control over it... Plus the kid has to learn how to adapt to a vastly unfamiliar school where in some case English isn't spoken...
And really you wouldn't lie to get your kid into a school where maybe just knowing from other parents horrors stories of what the local school are like, just wouldn't concern you... If a lie made the difference of getting your kid into a well known school, you still wouldn't lie...
Interesting Murph... Like I said... you should take a step back...
And I have to ask how transparent anyone in the WH has really been Murph? We all know they have secrets that none of us will ever know about...
For me, Obama may not be all that transparent all of the time, but he's come closer then those before him.
And that bar your so willing to set for future presidents, I'm wondering what would make you compromise in the future?
Trust me... that's an open door Murph...
As for the rest of it - yes, have lived overseas. Out of 12 years of school, seven were overseas. Some in the country's school system, some in DOD schools. So don't go there.
Obama set the tone. He's the one who said his was going to be the most transparent administration ever. I didn't say it. He has been the least transparent of them all, well, except for maybe the "god" of the left, Kennedy.
On any future president, holding him to a higher standard than we have in the past, nothing would make me compromise. We've all just gone with "Oh, he's cute," or "Oh, he's going to get me some money from the WH back yard," or, "Oh, he's big on the military," or oh whatever. Enough already.
As for taking a step back. Not on your life. Taking a step back is what has brought us all to this particular point in our history.
Sorry... but that last guy in office was far worst then Obama and any POTUS....
And nothing on this planet will ever change that.
DOD schools don't quite compare to local schools Murph... and you know it. how many 3rd world countries did you live in? You really think Obama parents had the same opportunities as your folks Murph? Yes I went there.... It's not the same...
BTW, if you voted for Bush I or II your compromised... You just don't realize it...
If you planned on voting for Mitt... then be prepared for a man that already knows the term "compromise" very well. After all Mitt slept with "god" of the left... Kennedy... aka RomneyCare...
So don't go there either... LOL
"Sorry... but that last guy in office was far worst then Obama and any POTUS.... " This is just the usual "I hate Bush" stuff that runs rampant out and about. He was not better or worse than any other POTUS. But that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, as am I mine.
I did in fact vote for Bush I and Bush II, and I am not compromised in any way, shape or form. I have never voted for and more than likely will never vote for a democrat. The democrat platform and I do not see eye to eye.
I will vote for Mitt, Newt, Milton Berle, should he decide to come back, Bugs Bunny, the Road Runner, the guy next door or down the street before I will vote for Obama. Romney is, of course, Democrat light. Don't care, because along with not voting for Obama and voting for the republican nominee, also plan to vote every other republican into office I can. And Romneycare may have worked out well for his state, don't know. Even if it didn't, if he gets the point that we don't want it, then fine.
So don't go there either...LOL :):):) This was fun today. Didn't change anything but we conversed in a civil manner and that's a good thing.
And I too plan to "cancel" out your vote... in every way possible.. LOL
As much wrong as Obama's done, he hasn't even come close to GW and company.
As you also note... I'm not into anything conservative... but it doesn't mean I agree with ALL things left... I figure I got about another 8 election cycles to go, if I'm lucky... And it will be a cold day in that place below before I vote for a conservative.
Thanks for the rap Murph..
This was fun again today. Wonder what question I'll track you down on tomorrow. Get a good night's sleep and be ready, young man!!!! :):)
I'll send you link in the mail if I see something worth fighting over...
My P's where life long Dems and still are... And from my viewpoint life was hard, but worth the fight...
And I work with conservatives... I eat breakfast with a group once a week... And it confirms why I won't ever be a conservative...
My parents also lifelong dems. From my viewpoint life was difficult, not hard, thank heavens, but definitely worth the fight. You have no idea how "hard" it could be around the dinner table or Sunday breakfast table arguing with seven dems when you're between the ages of 12 and 18. But honed some skills maybe.
I, too, have plenty of dealings with liberals...and it confirms why I won't ever be a democrat.
Most dems on SH I am disinclined to participate in a discussion of anything of substance, results in my being called names, my mentality being questioned, as well as my sexuality, etc...and really do not get the sexuality bit where it concerns what is happening in the world today. So do not quite understand why I have such a good time with you, we could not be further apart on issues I don't think.
Anyway, have about five more minutes of break time, then lunch, and then back to work. Come find me, and I will be tracking you as well.
I do know how hard it can be around the dinner table... My brother is 10 years older then me. He made comments about Reagan that weren't welcomed in our house... Because he went into the military and was living on his own...
He didn't realize how Reagan was destroying our very own family... then after a conversation or two, he realized his mistake.
I have the same hope for you Murph.. :)
See you soon.
Dad was in the military - Sgt... So he never made that much.
But it was just enough for all of us to live on...
Reagan made it worst for me and number 5... My sister to go to college.. So at a critical time in our life, trying to afford college, Reagan, pardon my french... f*ck'd that all to hell by raising the qualifying income to become eligible for Pell Grants.
My dad hated the man... So that's just a lil tidbit... So no, it's not a load when you got dumped with deciding to go to a better school vs. community college. And that being stated... younger brother (me) took a job, pay for school and books, plus paid for gas that lil sis use to get back and forth to the university I wanted to attend.
So again pardon me... F~ck Reagan...
