I once had a President Johnson who treated us in Vietnam as a politcal asset and "bump" in the road to implementing his Great Society, the country has yet to recover from that.

I pray that Mr. Romney is the next President and Mr. Obama can at the very least become a footnote - 2nd Democratic president to serve a single term.

I do remember LBJ. I never could understand what the Vietnam war was about, but, the men and woman who fought there were in my prayers often. Everyone of us, during that time, knew someone or was affected in some way by that terrible war.
