Is Obama More Liberal Than You?

obama is so far to the left he has fallen off the end- I don't like to be compared to a disgusting person like him

The President cares about working folk & so do I. He cares about hurting folk & so do I. He believes the rich & corporations are NOT paying their fair share--I totally agree with him.

The areas where I disagree with him (off the top of my head) are:

1. I wouldn't have let the previous administration get off scot-free for their war crimes.
2. The DOJ should be investigating & vigorously prosecuting the perpetrators of the meltdown. They should be doing time right along with Bernie Madoff.

Me? I love the USA. I never wish harm on my country. I take great offense at the Rev for exploiting his pulpit to poison the word of God with his racial hatred. I don't care about all the idle speculation that Obama may be a closet Muslim. What matters to me is that THIS was his mentor.

Just plain conservitive across the board where as he is ...liberal.

In one word or less? Absolutely! Just one example is that he wants bigger government and I want smaller government! That's as far as I go with out slamming him.

President Obama is more conservative

In truth, Obama is something I wouldn't call liberal really. I am considered liberal by many conservatives on this site. I do not share many of Obama's ideals. For example, I believe in smaller government. Much smaller. The nanny laws have gotten out of control. Also, I am pro-life. I cannot accept nor will I that a baby is a " clump of cells". I also o not believe that it is OK to kill American citizens by drone attack without benefit of a trial. Declaring them Enemy combatants is a slippery slope to start down, and anyone who disagrees with the government could be declared an enemy combatant and executed. I also do not believe in deposing sitting dictators, because we don't like them. It is a very weak excuse to claim that they are committing "atrocities" when we ignore Darfur. The atrocities go on in many middle eastern countries, and we don't depose their dictators. Therefore the argument that we are doing it to save lives rings hollow. Those are few things I disagree with Obama on. I am not sure if that makes him more liberal than me. I suppose my definition of liberal is different.

Obama is a centrist, he's a borderline corporatist, and he has not advanced any progressive programs. I only hope he does better after he defeats whichever one of the full-blown corporatists the republicans choose to run against him.

Of course he is a centrist. Hasn't even been able to introduce a public option (health care).
Here in Western Europe, we all have public health insurance for all, and most of our leaders are conservatives.

Obama is far left. (To be more specific, an Islamic fascist international dictator.) I'm pretty sure he and I differ on everything.

He is more liberal than me. So was George W. Bush. For example, I would never put an entire WAR "off budget". Nor would I hand out free prescription drugs for votes.

I think he goes with the wind myself, depending on what audience he's speaking to.

1. On abortion. Obama, while saying one thing, does the opposite by making Abortion readily available and paid for by Obamacare.
2. On wealth. Obama, while being a millionaire, using Millionaires and Billionaires $$$$, rails against those who have wealth as if it is diabolical, evil, without distinction. He is creating class warfare, dividing the country as never before since the Civil War. Is that really what we want. If so, we will get it.
3. On marriage. Obama, while being married himself, dismantles the Defense of Marriage Act because it offends gays.
4. On Energy. Obama is using the EPA to put a choke hold on the oil industry. Electricity prices have gone up considerably since he became President.

Time doesn't permit me to keep on going, but I could fill a page.

Obama is a hypocrite beyond description, because he has an agenda. That agenda is to destroy the United States as we know it, and rebuild in his Marxist image.

I would say, generally speaking, that I'm more liberal than Obama.
