I like Obama. I don't agree with everything he says, but then I don't agree with everything Clinton says either. I really don't like the fact that Clinton has such high-stakes corporate backing. I really like the fact that Obama does not. Clinton will be a slave to the corporate hags. And as such, this country keeps getting ruled by the suits.

Of course he is done. It did'nt take long to see that he is a separatist and devider. His idealogy is dangerous and he does not like America. It is obvious now as he attempts to destroy our economy.

Done? Oh, of course. Why should he go on when he is leading in the number of states won, the popular vote and the highest number of delegates won? And it doesn't make any sense for him to continue with the amazing amount of money being donated to his campaign by individuals. Nor should he be hopeful because of the fact that his campaign has energized the largest number of young voters in the history of the electoral process. How can he delude himself into thinking he has a chance?

Now, on the other hand, Hillary should stay in the race because she's running out of money, integrity, support and influence over the superdelegates.

Yes, here in bizzaro-world all is well.

Obama will be handed the Democrat nomination to run for POTUS. If he doesn't win enough delegates the super delegates will make certain if for no other reason than to keep peace in the party.

Absolutely not! Obama will be our next president! Obama has so many qualifications that America has been longing to see in its leaders. He is very intelligent and hardworking. He has wisdom and integrity. These things alone would set him apart from the crowd. He is absolutely determined to work with the American people to undo the harm that has been inflicted on our nation in the last 7 years. His platform is extensive, but he is more than aware of the difficulties we will encounter moving forward on many of the issues. He knows he will need to work with all kinds of people and keep the American public engaged in the process if we are to succeed.

For me personally, the 10 years he taught constitutional law are very significant, because we have lost so much under Bush. His great academic success indicates his fine intellect. While his work choices reveal a real commitment to social justice.

Obama has 10 years in elected office, (3 years in the U.S. Senate and 7 years in the Illinois Senate).
He taught constitutional law for 10 years.
He graduated Harvard Law School magna cum laude.
He was president of the Harvard Law Review.
He worked as a community organizer and as lawyer representing "community organizers, discrimination claims, and voting rights cases".

So are ayou a paid or unpaid campaign worker. The man is a hack and far from inteligent. But he does read well consider he is clueless. No accomplishment and zero leadership skills or ability. Add to that his extremely poor judgement in Campaign Advisors and he more than embarassing choice for a Mnetor and Spritual advisor and have you the Black face version of Bush and his ineptitude

trac, I find it interesting that you think I am 'connected with Obama's campaign'. I have thoroughly researched my candidate and choose to support him in this way. I have never stopped to think how many posts I have made but it is nice to see that you are reading them.

As for the campaign, I am not aware of the campaign using blogs and if they did they would be much more restricted than I am in their support because Obama run a pretty tight ship with regard to what people on the campaign say when supporting him. I feel no such restrictions. For example I want to continue to feel free to call Hillary dishonest and refer to her lies as lies.

And why would you think the Obama camp is desperate? Are the winners likely to feel desperate? Obama has won 27 to 16 states, Obama has won the popular vote, Obama has won the pledged delegates and Obama will win the Super delegates.

I am actually not drumming up support, which doesn't seem to be a problem for him. I am giving my view and I am countering the outrageous lies and smears that are coming at this great man, with information. That information seems very intimidating to some people. I really don't know why that is.

I take it hunter that you don't care for my endorsement of Obama. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. However not all opinions are created equal. I was at least able to provide resources to support my opinion. Your opinion does not appear to have a basis. Such as your assertion that he is far from intelligent. I have not seen an IQ, but I do actually know that Harvard Law School doesn't produce a lot of hacks and I know that to graduate magna cum laude from that particular school means that you are really the best of the best that our country is producing. And they do not elect the president of their law review based on how cute they are. However if you prefer to think that he is far from intelligent, enjoy your opinion, but don't expect others to find it persuasive.

Obama's wise judgment on subjects such as the specific nature of his opposition to the war in Iraq and his other platform issues are part of the reason that his popularity is soaring as he campaigns across the nation.

    Have a nice day!

Obama said oops on 6 state Senate votes

Barack Obama angered fellow Democrats in the Illinois Senate when he voted to strip millions of dollars from a child welfare office on Chicago’s West Side. But Obama had a ready explanation: He goofed.

“I was not aware that I had voted no,” he said that day in June 2002, asking that the record be changed to reflect that he “intended to vote yes.”

On March 19, 1997, he announced he had fumbled an election-reform vote, “I was trying to vote yes on this, and I was recorded as a no,” he said. The next day, he acknowledged voting “present” on a key telecommunications vote.

He stood on March 11, 1999, to take back his vote against legislation to end good-behavior credits for certain felons in county jails. “I pressed the wrong button on that,” he said.

Obama was the lone dissenter on Feb. 24, 2000, against 57 yeas for a ban on human cloning. “I pressed the wrong button by accident,” he said.

On Nov. 14, 1997, he backed legislation to permit riverboat casinos to operate even when the boats were dockside. The measure, pushed by the gambling industry and fought by church groups whose support Obama was seeking, passed with two “yeas” to spare — including Obama’s. Afterwards, he rose to say, “I’...

On Nov. 14, 1997, he backed legislation to permit riverboat casinos to operate even when the boats were dockside. The measure, pushed by the gambling industry and fought by church groups whose support Obama was seeking, passed with two “yeas” to spare — including Obama’s. Afterwards, he rose to say, “I’d like to be recorded as a no vote,” explaining that he had mistakenly voted for it. Obama would later develop a reputation as a critic of the gambling industry

On June 11, 2002, Obama’s vote sparked a confrontation after he joined Republicans to block Democrats trying to override a veto by GOP Gov. George Ryan of a $2-million allotment for the west Chicago child welfare office.

Afterward, Obama chastised Republicans for their “sanctimony” in claiming that only they had the mettle to make tough choices. A fellow Democrat suddenly seethed with anger. “You got a lot of nerve to talk about being responsible,” said Sen. Rickey Hendon, accusing Obama of voting to close the child welfare office.

Obama replied right away. “I understand Sen. Hendon’s anger. . . . I was not aware that I had voted no on that last — last piece of legislation,” he said.

Gee as someone that has worked for Harvard as Reserach Associate and turned down their acceptance to Grad school there I may have a different perspective. The fact that he was much older than many of his classmates may have a piece in his ranking and grade. I to graduated Magna Cum Laude. I hav eknown many Harvard grads and just to some how impressive they are Look at Bush harvard and yale. So I see your point. I would how a 30 year old is brighter than his 22 year old classmates. His 19 yaers "teaching" Constitutiona;l law was a PT job non tenured and I would love to see what level he taught. Entry level at best I wiould guess

I have seen the numbers above that you used other places and it would put him in his 50's if they were actual real full tiome positions. Since he did not graduate until he wasover 30 from law school I find those numbers a bit inflated if not the number the actual experience. He has shown no brilliance just an ability to read well and test well since that is all most grades reflect.

But please answer my first question because as an Obama support you do wjhat he does well EVADE questions. Atre you a paid or unpaid campaign worker?

Are you aware that this is a poll from March 2008 predicting that Obama was history long before he made history as President of the United States. Your problems with him are too boring to bother with. The American people know they made the best possible choice in electing President Obama. He may not be able to surmount your racial issues but he is certainly bringing Americans together, has slowed the economic collapse that he inherited, and he is dramatically improving our standing in the world.

No way, no how. I know it will be difficult for him to defeat the Clinton War Machine. But, he will win if it comes down to the Super delegates. If he is ahead in popular votes and delegates and the Super delegates are bought by the Clintons the Democrat Party is toast and they know. It all depends how much it will cost the Clintons in promises and money.

Who knows if Obama is beaten because of bribes and under the table tactics as the Clintons are well known in doing maybe Obama changes parties. The Republicans need a young vile candidate.

Rod, if you worked a project that you really love wouldn't have something to show for it in 30 years? Stop and think about it. Go check and see how many bills she has authored during the time that she has been in the Senate concerning Health Care. Then how many have past. The answer to both is Zero.

And, do you really believe that she is out there for you?
