Is Obama Creating Unemployment to Bring Families Together?

dublin9 October 31, 2009 13:48:43

“I thought I’d take out time after ordering Service Employees Union and ACORN thugs to beat up old people and speak with you about the economy.

Beating up old people was fun this Summer, but there are times I have to address larger issues. People are still losing their jobs, but there's a positive side: With 15,000,000 people already out of the work force, we have a smaller pool of those still working that can lose their jobs. The fewer people still employed, the fewer that can be made unemployed. Now, that's Change we can Believe in.

I've heard people say that the unemployment rate is really 17%, because full time workers are now part time workers and hundreds of thousands have run out of unemployment insurance and are no longer counted as “unemployed.”

But that’s just a statistical technicality. We prefer to think of these people as being transferred from the “actively seeking work” column to the more positive, “I’m starving to death and loving every bit of it,” listing.

Non-Progressive naysayers, might complain, but I think that unemployment will bring families closer together. Imagine the fun as dad spends newly found leisure time with his children, playing hide and seek in restaurant back alleys, rummaging through garbage cans for the remains of exotically festering food. Think of the new aromas they can discover together.

Only I, The Obama, could not only rescue the American economy, but bring more togetherness to the American family.”

I love my kids but mom has to work to keep them fed clothed and sheltered. I guess the president does not understand the importance of that.

Hello. Could I be Obama's Ice Cream Czar? I want to come out with some new flavors and ban others because Americans are just too dumb to choose properly. I'll look really cool with an ice cream crown with a whipped cream and cherry topping.

Destroying your America? Mine is fine, thank you. I haven't felt robbed lately.

Do we have a problem? I'm sorry you feel insulted, and I'm just fine where I live. Is this your way of asking people to leave? No need; I think it's time to move on.

I'm not on the handout line so Obama's not done anything for me.
    >I cant afford to buy a new car so no clunker bonus of 4500
    >I already own a home with much lost value, so no new home buyers freebie there and I'd be stupid to refinance with so much lost equity.
    >My kids cant apply for financial aid for college or they have to sign away 2 years of their lives. The current charitable work is not at Americorps or the CNDC.
    >All of my local taxes have increased with all the new paperwork and angencies we have lots of new local and fed govt employees to support.
    >My healthcare plan is a so called cadillac plan so I will be taxed on that, even though I go without other luxuries to pay for my much needed extensive health insurance.
    >My retail business is drowning since no one is spending. Most people paid bills with their stimulus cks.
    >My accounting clients are closing shop and on long payment plans for my fees.
    >As a taxpayer I own stocks in some of the worst govt owned businesses like GM and Goldman Sacks, and Citi.

I'm getting screwed by Obama and the Dem majority of both houses.

Dont act like Obama wasn't involved, his votes in the Senate are a matter of record and his spendulus year has driven my share of the debt through the roof.

Please tell us Jeremiah, what is he doing that is good for you?

I saw first person the thuggery of the Obama admin and his followers will literally beat you down in his name. Remember the video of the Philly election with the New Black Panthers, not far from home.
In one neighborhood we caucused in, my black partner had to leave because she was being verbally attacked and we did not want her physically hurt. They just said I was a crazy white b*tch for coming around there talking smack about Obama.
I only mentioned his voting record and his lack of a real work or governing experience.
I never realized how bad it would get. I would have worked harder.

Bush, Bush, Bush. Three years from now when Obama's trillions in spending have created a dip in unemployment, inflation, stagflation and financial collapse of the dollar, you'll be screaming Bush. The Democrats (including then Senator Obama) have been in charge of Congress for three years. And it's Congress that has the purse strings and sets Banking Committee policy. P.S. You forgot to mention Cheney. Maybe it was he who added 3 1/2 million unemployed to the rolls since The Obama took office. Didn't The Obama promise that if we gave him an extra trillion dollars to spend, unemployment would remain below 8%?

We truly have a better prez than the last one ... because I never understood how the old prez stood around and watch people loose their homes and jobs .. and this country fall into such a bad recession and done nothing until the last mintue and yet others try to blame the prez we have now .. it took us eight years to drop into this recession and it will take time to come out of it ..

This President not only voted in the Senate to stop the regulation of Fannie and Freddie, he voted for every handout and bailout there has been. He also fought along with ACORN to force banks to provide subprime loans.
He has stood with the most despicable thugs like SEIU and Acorn all of his life.

Spread the wealth? Communists, socialists and marxists abound in his administration! 50 of his best fundraisers sent all over the globe as Ambassadors? OMG
When will this Chicago political machine stop destroying our businesses and our dollar?

Concerned, the housing bubble bust last summer, how did the Senate and Congress react? TARP!
People lost their jobs when bad businesses failed, how did the Senate and Congress react? They bought Citi, AIG, GM, Bank of America which all SUCK!
