The dark side of me almost wants this law to stand to see how all the idiots who support this sh!tty law, and the Impostor that signed it into law, to have a government bureaucrat stand between them and their loved one's when something really goes wrong with health care.
Every time the government has gotten involved in anything, the costs go up, and the time It takes stretches out to ridiculousness. Just think, soon our medical system will work as smoothly as the DMV.
Yeah, the government's done such a lovely job with the enterprises that it runs. Like the Post office...well...maybe that's not such a good example..........like........... LOL
Talk to a health care practitioner or one somebody that lives in one of those nations that has to wait ridiculous lengths of times for basic health care. You might want to check out the tax rates in those countries while you're at it.
Those countries spend 11% of GDP on health care, with coverage for everyone. We spend 19% to cover 80% of us. And the lines are for elective procedures only. Anyone needing immediate treatment gets it.
The biggest difference in where the money goes in the U.S. compared to other countries is hospitalization and administration costs. Instead of creating a huge government bureaucracy to manage health care we should be looking at ways to streamline administrative processes and take a hard look at hospital costs. Having the government take control won't help with either of those.
In government run programs like the VA health care system, administrative costs run about 5%. For private insurance companies, administrative costs run closer to 20%.
LOL
It's so great, it wasn't even presented to the American People for a vote.
