He has shown NO leadership in demanding that Harry Reid get a budget passed. He has shown NO leadership in bringing the nation together as one, instead dividing us all by sex, race, income bracket and ideology. He has a LONG history of never accepting responsibility OR leadership. He has to blame Congress, the people, the media, big business, Mother Goose and those damned Unicorns (probably the Skittles raindrops too).

They are holding America hostage but Obama won't call them out.

President Obama has every right to blame a Do-Nothing Congress and the way they've tried to make America fail. It's no wonder Boehner and Crowd have such a low approval rating. President Obama has put forward good policies and Republicans have stalled, opposed and, generally, doing everything possible to destroy our president. In my opinion, they're anti-American.

The Republicans in Washington DC initially did vote with the President on several legislative articles. The problem began when his leftwing shifted to the extreme left and began attacking everyone on the right to get even for all the years the Republicans were in control. The Democrats had a super majority meaning they could pass anything they wanted to through cloture and Republicans didn't even have the people necessary to filibuster. But just like under Clinton in 1992, the left attacked the Republicans telling them to get on board or get out of the way so they got out of the way, united and said no to everything Clinton / Obama wanted. Not only that but Obama's leftwing fruitcakes attacked rightwing Democrats and even Centrists and Moderates agreeing with rightwing Democrats splitting their party against itself... Obama wasn't selling out trying to win Republican support as he didn't need it, he was selling out his first two years trying to reunite his own damn party which Progressives and Liberals out of sheer ignorance and hate had split it against itself. This is how in Obama's first two years Republicans scored a record filibusters because Democrats were joining with them.

Your President has been spitting on you guys ever since he won elected office. As a state Senator,...

This is how in Obama's first two years Republicans scored a record filibusters because Democrats were joining with them.

Your President has been spitting on you guys ever since he won elected office. As a state Senator, he often voted Present on issues important to the left and as a US Senator, he never once voted against Bush but voted for everything Bush wanted including voting to pass Bush legislation through cloture. When he didn't have enough Republican support in his second term, it was Obama who got Bush enough Democrat votes to pass his legislation and he voted so often against the left that his voting record makes him a rightwing extremist.

President Obama has one weakness... people like YOU.

You split his party against him, you spoke such hatred against the Republicans that Republican leaders had no choice but to oppose him because their enraged voting base would have voted them out of office and for all the claims of racism against this President... you guys admitted that had you elected a white democrat they wouldn't have been treated any different than Obama. The only "racists" are people like yourself who can't see a black man as anything but a victim so no matter how many times he screws up or stabs you in the back, he's never to blame... it's always the fault of racists even when the only one involved is Obama himself.

Who made those secret deals with Big Pharma and Big Oil without telling anyone? Who was the first President not to get involved to keep the water flowing in the San Joaquin Valley costing that state billions of dollars and one of our worst ecological disasters? Who personally led the fight to preserve the three worst provisions of the Patriot Act he swore to remove over his entire political career when even the Republicans were willing to let them expire? Who tossed the public option not once but three times from his healthcare plan? Who was so filled with hate that they wasted all their time attacking the Republicans in 2010 instead of promoting their own candidates to give people reason to vote for them... something that for all the hate you guys heaped on the Tea Party, they at least promoted the hell out of their candidates?

Obama's only real weakness is that the Progressives and Liberals are filled with so much self destructive hate that they, not the Republicans, did everything possible to destroy this President!

Even now as Obama is heading for re election, a story comes out that blue collar rightwing Democrats are not happy that Obama takes so many vacations when the economy keeps them from having any vacations at all... and you guys come out attacking them with more hatred than you heap on Republicans!

How damn stupid are you people? You join a political party that is almost 50 / 50 rightwing and leftwing and you lack the common sense and braincells to understand that if you want to hold power in Washington DC... YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH YOUR FELLOW RIGHTWING DEMOCRATS AND NOT ATTACK THEM LIKE THEY ARE THE GREATEST EVIL ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET!

Obama needs those rightwing Democrats to be re elected and you can't do anything but attack them and blame them for everythin no different than you do Republicans.

If you cannot find a way to work with your rightwing Democrat counterparts, then maybe it's time you guys do what Liberals and Progressives have done around the world... form your own damn party because every damn time you guys come to power in Washington DC... the political left does everything in it's power to destroy the Democratic Party. The rightwingers in your party are not leftwingers so you need to work with them. You do that through Centrists and Moderates so you need to lay off of them as well. And if you guys can work with your rightwing Democrat counterparts... then you can work with the Republican opposition.

The Reason Republicans stay in power for so long when they get it is they are united where you guys are divided against one another as much as you are against the Republicans... but when you attack the rightwing Democrats, they help the Republicans.

And if you want to get Obama beaten... just keep your party divided against itself and stop everything he's been trying to do to reunite you political party.

The hatemonger Keith Olbermann got fired from MSNBC because of his hate... and then he got fired by Al Gore on Current TV for the same damn reason. Learn from the bad example he set because he had a huge Liberal following until he began to go to far and even the more center leaning Liberals stopped watching his show. You let people like that set the tone and you still cannot stop yourselves from the hate and ignorance this man and others like him set in motion with the Left after Obama was elected.

Republicans don't really have to do a damn thing to beat Obama... people like yourself will do it for them just like you did in the 2010 elections!

I have no doubt President Obama will win re-election in 2012; Republicans don't have any policies to offer except a war against women's rights, a war against science and hatred.

Translation of your long post: You can't stand the thought that a black man is in the White House.

Even before he was sworn into office, Republicans were plotting to undermine this president.

He's blaming congress because they're the ones who pass the laws.

The bits of his policy that have made it through have been wildly successful. But he can't actually write the laws.

And with Boner and the boys blocking anything that goes thru the house, the past 2 years have been largely wasted.

in other words, it's the congress stupid.

    Hmm... Let's see.

Bush's economic collapse speaks for itself.

So does Obama's record of avoiding imminent depressions.

So does the record of the admin and congress before the repug's took control of the house.

So does the record after the repugs took control.

Just sayin... If you can refute any of that, and say anything besides "stop blaming us for our mistakes" please do.

We will continue to blame others for their incompetence as a firm basis in reality is a core tenet of liberalism.

When will republicans own up to sabotaging this administration for political gain? An agenda tantamount to treason.

Or when will they acknowledge Bush's administration was devastating to the WORLD, and isn't the type of thing that can be turned around in a week?

    When?

so, allow me to put my words out there , and not have to depend upon you to speak for me... the present house, the present senate , the present POTUS , ( there is great power in the here and now, I have no power to change the past , ) are the ones that are making or , IMO , breaking the country...

I beleive in capitalism too. I really do, but not when the corporations are taking away our jobs because of pure greed. They made money here even when they were taxed at the highest rates. 10 years of having bigger tax cuts has not gotten America jobs, in fact just the opposite.

".... pure greed " and just what are corp. for , other than profit ?

I believe America has the highest tax rate on corporations in the world, and our growth has been falling behind at a fast rate , think the two are related to each other ?

10 years of tax cuts, well, I think the tax cuts , subsidies , tariffs, have been with us for longer than 10 years.. much longer .. and I agree with you they do not work,

if a business plan has to depend upon tax cuts, subsidies, tariffs to succeed , then may be it is a poor business plan..

in Pittsburgh Pa , the politicians are always ( well not every minute of every day ) trying to lure some one into the area with tax cuts , and it does not work out .. they may bring in , by giving a $$ inducement to the new company, but then that company has a competitive advantage over the existing company and they then can not make any $$ ( and that is the objective , to turn a profit ) and they go out of business,, then Pittsburgh we are stuck paying for the new company 's taxes and the old company that was paying taxes leaved the area.

I am against tax breaks , subsidies, tarriffs , for corporate and private citizen.

tax us all across the board , the state tax is 3 % for private citizens, regardless if you make 10,000 or 100,000 $$ , flat rate, sure is easy to fill out the form. :)

Have you stopped to ask WHY they are moving those jobs overseas? The main reason is that other places have a more business friendly environment. Lower taxes (we have the highest corporate rates and the most complex code, which is very expensive to navigate), the regulations are fewer so there is more freedom to produce at a lower cost, and finally, YES the cost of labor is lower, BUT we have forced the cost of labor up with a high minimum wage (over 80% of those who work at minimum wage are teenagers, school kids and those just starting in the working world) and labor union who have taken non union wages up as well.

So, why not tax the crap out of them if they send jobs overseas? To me it is very unpatriotic of these ceo's to send jobs overseas, but yet they still want to live in this great country. They need to pack their bags and live in the God forsaken places where there is no regulation on their water, food, environment. Then maybe they would understand why we have regulation and why taxes are higher here. They are just a bunch of greedy bastards.

Raising the tax burden on them will only send more of their production AND administration overseas. If you create a friendlier atmosphere, they would willingly bring more back, thus raising the amount of profits taxable here in the US (ie, increased tax revenue).
