what has obama done in office that isnt different from the democratic party's agenda? FDR, Truman, Teddy Roosevelt (a republican), JFK, Johnson, Carter and Clinton all pushed for the same exact health care reform that Obama just passed, and pledged tax increases for the rich and tax cuts for the middle and lower class. What he's done in office is nothing new. If he was a real dictator he would have taken over by now, and guys like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck would be jobless. Obama's not a dictator. Expect a presidential run between Chris Christie and Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Obama will be out of the picture.

obama is still raising money - for what election?
obama has issued executive orders without Congressional approval
obama has made court appointments while Congress is in recess
obama's administration is repeatedly deceitful, and has appointed multiple czars
The White House has confiscated funds, executed sleazy deals with energy companies and committed election fraud, enemies of the White House have been killed, documents have been forged, members of Congress have been bribed and/or threatened.

In truth, I believe he has always been a dictator. Dictators are not necessarily intelligent, not leaders, and seldom benevolent. He is a known narcissist, and narcissists place themselves above and beyond everyone else and have no qualm about stepping on anyone and everyone in the way of his goals and wishes. Personally I believe he is a sociopath, and sociopaths do not have emotions other than greed, anger, hatred. To support my belief he is a sociopath I offer this:
    Checklist (Sociopathic Traits)

    1. GLIB and SUPERFICIAL CHARM -- the tendency to be smooth, engaging, charming, slick, and verbally facile. Sociopathic charm is not in the least shy, self-conscious, or afraid to say anything. A sociopath never gets tongue-tied. They have freed themselves from the social conventions about taking turns in talking, for example.

    2. GRANDIOSE SELF-WORTH -- a grossly inflated view of one's abilities and self-worth, self-assured, opinionated, cocky, a braggart. Sociopaths are arrogant people who believe they are superior human beings.

    3. NEED FOR STIMULATION or PRONENESS TO BOREDOM -- an excessive need for novel, thrilling, and exciting stimulation; taking chances and doing things that are risky. Sociopaths often have low self-discipline in carrying tasks through to completion be...

CONNING AND MANIPULATIVENESS- the use of deceit and deception to cheat, con, or defraud others for personal gain; distinguished from Item #4 in the degree to which exploitation and callous ruthlessness is present, as reflected in a lack of concern for the feelings and suffering of one's victims.

    6. LACK OF REMORSE OR GUILT -- a lack of feelings or concern for the losses, pain, and suffering of victims; a tendency to be unconcerned, dispassionate, coldhearted, and un empathic. This item is usually demonstrated by a disdain for one's victims.

    7. SHALLOW AFFECT -- emotional poverty or a limited range or depth of feelings; interpersonal coldness in spite of signs of open gregariousness.

    8. CALLOUSNESS and LACK OF EMPATHY -- a lack of feelings toward people in general; cold, contemptuous, inconsiderate, and tactless.

    9. PARASITIC LIFESTYLE -- an intentional, manipulative, selfish, and exploitative financial dependence on others as reflected in a lack of motivation, low self-discipline, and inability to begin or complete responsibilities.

    10. POOR BEHAVIORAL CONTROLS -- expressions of irritability, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression, and verbal abuse; inadequate control of anger and temper; acting hastily.

    11. PROMISCUOUS SEXUAL BEHAVIOR -- a variety of brief, superficial relations, numerous affairs, and an indiscriminate selection of sexual partners; the maintenance of several relationships at the same time; a history of attempts to sexually coerce others into sexual activity or taking great pride at discussing sexual exploits or conquests.

    12. EARLY BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS -- a variety of behaviors prior to age 13, including lying, theft, cheating, vandalism, bullying, sexual activity, fire-setting, glue-sniffing, alcohol use, and running away from home.

    13. LACK OF REALISTIC, LONG-TERM GOALS -- an inability or persistent failure to develop and execute long-term plans and goals; a nomadic existence, aimless, lacking direction in life.

    14. IMPULSIVITY -- the occurrence of behaviors that are unpremeditated and lack reflection or planning; inability to resist temptation, frustrations, and urges; a lack of deliberation without considering the consequences; foolhardy, rash, unpredictable, erratic, and reckless.

    15. IRRESPONSIBILITY -- repeated failure to fulfill or honor obligations and commitments; such as not paying bills, defaulting on loans, performing sloppy work, being absent or late to work, failing to honor contractual agreements.

    16. FAILURE TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR OWN ACTIONS -- a failure to accept responsibility for one's actions reflected in low conscientiousness, an absence of dutifulness, antagonistic manipulation, denial of responsibility, and an effort to manipulate others through this denial.

    17. MANY SHORT-TERM MARITAL RELATIONSHIPS -- a lack of commitment to a long-term relationship reflected in inconsistent, undependable, and unreliable commitments in life, including marital.

    18. JUVENILE DELINQUENCY -- behavior problems between the ages of 13-18; mostly behaviors that are crimes or clearly involve aspects of antagonism, exploitation, aggression, manipulation, or a callous, ruthless tough-mindedness.

    19. REVOCATION OF CONDITION OF CONDITION RELEASE -- a revocation of probation or other conditional release due to technical violations, such as carelessness, low deliberation, or failing to appear.

    20. CRIMINAL VERSATILITY -- a diversity of types of criminal offenses, regardless if the person has been arrested or convicted for them; taking great pride at getting away with crimes.

Most certainly. He plays upon the ignorance of most people about government and about the constant and overwhelming harm it does to our society so that he can feed his many corrupt supporters the hard-earned money productive people earned honestly in the private sector. He is simply a brutal gang leader using the monopoly on the use of force the government has to safely steal from others and effectively enslave them. Big government is the perfect tool for the most corrupt and lawless among us to satisfy their lust for power. That lust for power by these brutes does the great majority of Americans great harm.

Obama swept to victory by reassembling his progressive coalition of Blacks, Latinos, youth, unmarried women, Jews, union members and gay men and lesbians and the majority of welfare recips. Blacks and Latinos voted overwhelmingly in favor Obama, with the president again earning more than 90 percent of the African American vote and 71 percent of Latinos, according to exit polls. The majority of the electoral voters were black. Blacks of every age group proved that they had Obama’s back: 18-29 (91 percent), 30-44 (94 percent), 45-64 (93 percent) and 65 and above (93 percent). But no one that voted for BO the first time or this time can give a solid logical reason they voted for him..LOL.. So the deck was stacked against anyone running against BO wasn't it?

There is no evidence to support that he is trending toward becoming one either. If he were a dictator, he would have taken over by now. He had his best chance to do so when all of his buddies were in place during his first two years.

Obama's doing nothing new or original. All of his tricks, he learned from his Republican predecessor. Bail outs, NDAA, Gitmo, getting involved in foreign nightmares? Nothing new. Obama takes cues from Bush, Clinton, etc., puts the required Democrat spin on it to keep the shallow voting base happy (both parties have a pretty shallow base, I'm sad to say), and hopes that no one notices the difference. The sad thing in America is that the independents, libertarians, and other voters who are completely fed up with the Republican/Democrat false-dichotomy are in such a minority that we see little hope in any real change or fresh blood making its way into power.

The idea that he is a "dictator" is based solely on the rants of people who simply don't like him or his politics, and are somehow desperately hoping that there's a way to retroactively un-elect the president. Bush was called many of the same things for the past eight years: dictator, tyrant, war criminal, etc. When you let talk radio or cable news (right or left, they're both pretty chi...

Editorial commentary (which is all that talk radio and cable news has become) exists for the sole purpose of getting listeners angry and riled up. It's what keeps people listening.

Nothing new under the sun. I expect the same vitriol for the next president as well.

Good answer. Sad but true. Obama is just a lousy president that was re-elected because of the crappy choices the Republicans trotted out and third party candidates weren't given the opportunity to debate their platform by the media and the powers that run the American political process.

For the record, a dictator guarantees none of the following:

    Freedom of speech.
    Freedom of the press.
    Free opposition political parties.
    Independent courts.
    Free and regular elections.

Degrees of repression. Some dictators see themselves as a transition to democracy, but, in general, few eventually subject themselves to an election. In Chile, Augusto Pinochet did allow two yes-no votes on his rule, and he left office after the second plebiscite, in which 56 percent of the people voted "no."

Some dictators allow limited freedom of expression, as long the expression -- written or spoken -- doesn’t directly challenge the dictator’s rule.

Hopeless oppression. The most common characteristic of a dictatorship: Hopelessness in the people -- no hope of a free election to change leaders, no hope of fairness in court, no hope of a life lived with the freedom to speak your mind or challenge a bad idea.

We have almost entirely lost a free press, if radio is regulated - it's over.
We have lost almost half the independent courts.
Free, regular, no fraud elections now only exist in state & local elections.
The Republican party is half corrupted, the Democratic party is 95% corrupt.
Political correctness has disturbed about 30% of free speech.
We are close comrades, at 20% each for the five, we are 40% free.
