Over the past week or so the news networks have been going crazy over the idea of Obama giving the order that sent the military specialists in to kill Bin Laden,. almost as if Obama himself was the mighty warrior who carried out the mission.
And part of this effort to make Obama look courageous was Joe Biden badly paraphrasing Teddy Roosevelt's catch phrase saying that Obama had a big stick,. rather than the Teddy Roosevelt phrase of I Speak Softly and Carry A Big Stick.
..Then again Obama had someone like Biden to say the phrase for his. Teddy Roosevelt had the courage to speak for himself and make his own self look brave.
And Bill Clinton is making ads saying how brave Obama is. So if Obama is so brave why are all of these people needed to make him look brave ??

    Funny I was just gonna post on this .......Obama showed up in Afghanistan with his arm in a sling ....doctors examined him and said as soon as he stops patting himself on the back for killing Osama bin laden it will be fine..............Looks like OBAMA is trying to win some votes from our troops ....SORRY CHARLIE 'to little ,to late"..........Obama is gonna make a speech tonight and announce that he personally shot Osama

    I think Obama while intelligent, is nothing more than a self-serving spoiled brat.
    He saw an opportunity, to get a really cool job and went for it.
    While most of what he is doing seems ridiculous, it's also entirely possible that he knows stuff that we are not privy to and is acting accordingly.

    It could also be he is just grabbing everything he can, because after the White house, what's next? Lock up the silver...

    It could be that everything we see is just multi-distractions to keep us off balance...

    I believe it takes a certain amount of bravery, a tremendous ego or a combination of both to even want to be president. Really, who in their right mind would want to be the president. Now to the question of whether Obama is a powerfully brave commander, nah, not particularly. He did what other presidents have done and in pretty much the same manner.

    He had to take a couple of polls first to see if it would be popular decision. Then he had to ask his wife and kids if it was ok to kill their leader. Then he had to check the time of day to see if he would miss his intel nap. And as long as all the stars lined up he was able to give a tentative yes.

    The truth is that all the advanced terrorist black sites and techniques from thousands of pages of intel led the seals team to the exact location and all these began in 02', so Mr. Obama, don't take your "customary bow" too soon, because your just "jumping the gun" once again too fast,...as usual. (I don't know of anybody I know personally who would not have made the call to "Go",...I'd of done it in a heartbeat, without hesitation!)

    --That's what I would have voted for had that been an option,. So that's why I voted the way I did, Even a 'none of the above' choice would have been the most appropriate--why do conservatives always want to frame everything in the extreme?

    Why is it he;s always the devil or the messiah to conservatives? Maybe too much of that kool-aide you guys are always talking bout but seem to be the only one's drinking'?     He's a civilian Commander-in-Chief and is as brave as another other that hasn't actually led troops into combat, such as Reagan, Clinton, Bush, etc...

    My aunt (born in 1875) had this phrase, "He's got a lot of gall!" That pretty much sums up what Obama has. Bravery is not among his talents, real or imagined.
