Cults are typically defined by five characteristics. First, cults tend to centralize power in the hands of a single individual or small group that is considered beyond questions. Second, they treat all questions about the group and its beliefs as intolerable challenges to the group's authority and authenticity. Third, they demean all those who do not share their beliefs and sow fear and mistrust amongst their believers about all such people. Fourth, they typically cut off all or most opportunities for members to interact freely with those outside the group. And finally, they take revenge upon those who choose to leave the group, in ways which include, cutting them off from all relationships with those who remain inside, confiscation of material goods and even physical harm.

Something to remember when you are consuming information. Most people consume information and examine it in relation to what the bad guys are up to in pursuing their agenda. It should not be examined in the context of what they are up to ,but why they are feeding you the information and its purpose in relation to their agenda. That includes all media left,right and middle. Do not worry the good guys will come out on top. Remember the hardest predator to catch is the one who senses the trap. To trap this predator the bait must be such that it overcomes this sense.

It's certainly cult-like. To minorities he's the messiah. To youth he represents "change" which is only anarchy. To the poor he represents "hope". To the ignorant, he is eloquent. But how reducing the "haves" to the lowest common denominator helps any of these is beyond me.

He's just a smooth-talking politician loved by about half of the people.... for now. His lack of depth shows a little more every day. Some still expect him to pay their mortgage and buy their gasoline, some are just star stricken, and others really believe in what he's trying to do. Eventually his star will fade, reality will set in, and we will see what he really is..... for better or worse.
