Not one Republican has indicated that they want to "Get Rid" of planned Parenthood. They do however want to take away their Subsiies of about 700 Million dollars a year.

It is planned parenthood that says if they lose the Government subsidy, they will have to close. Last year they had a 25 Million "Excess over Expenses" on a 1 Billion dollar budget. Because PP is a Non Profit organization, they cannot call that a profit.

But if you own a business, what do the Tax people call your "Excess over Expenses".

Romney is not saying get rid of PP. Just no longer fund them with the Billions of Government Tax dollars and let them stand on their own. Abortion is Legal,and if they operate legally, Which is being found to be a problem, they cannot be touched. Planned Parenthood says they cannot stay in business if the federal funding is taken away.

Truthfully, people need to take responsibility for their own lives. If we keep bailing them out for their mistakes the pattern will never change and will only get worse. It has to be a gradual defunding of all of the entitlements you mentioned otherwise no one will see a reason to improve themselves and more will hop on the apple cart. Eventually you and I and those that are responsible will be paying out more for others welfare than we do our own.

These are not talking points, they are from the heart of an old man that lived in this country when only a handful truly needed help and has seen it snowball into the mess we are in today.
