All of the above because he just does not get it on any level. He has no concept of what it is like for the average American to actually work for a living. Meaning, he's never lived paycheck to paycheck, never worried about putting food in the fridge, paying utilities or avoiding eviction. Other politicians are in the same position as Mitt but somehow are able to understand and have compassion for the people that do face these situations every single day. Mitt is so far out of touch I doubt he'll ever get it.

Poverty rates are growing faster under Obama, household income is falling under Obama, unemployment higher under Obama, debt climbing under Obama.

Perhaps you should outline those areas of his tax plan with your expertise. All I see is democratic Dogma and rhetoric designed to scare the masses.
I have outlined in other threads how what you call tax cuts on the rich are good for job stimulation. Obama has also given these same kinds of cuts and is proposing more hidden in tthe fair pay act.

The word "sociopath" gets thrown around too much these days and we've largely forgotten that it has a very precise definition in a clinical context. A sociopath is someone who is unable to feel empathy for other people, but can give off every outward appearance of a caring nature if doing so will get him something he wants.

I happen to believe that *most* successful politicians are sociopaths. I don't know Romney personally, but I don't think he's an exception.

I thnik if he really wants to be the head man of this country he has to take a good hard look in the mirror and get in touch with the people and he is not the only one.Average people were what the the founders of this country had in mind when they started it and for many years we have lost that and now are stuck with rich out of touch people trying to tell the average person that they know whats best for us and its not working well anymore

The "joint houses" are the main problem. The congressional approval rating is in the single digits, FAR lower than the President's. Congress is the primary disfunction of our government.

The character flaws will show, if he is willing to advance the agenda of the powerful interests. We will find that out if he is elected, but based on his stances to support the Patriot Act the NDAA, the TSA, and possibly an attack on Iran, it looks like he has a number of character flaws.

I am an average citizen, worked since I was 12 years old and now living on social security and I connect with Obama. Romney scares me.The GOP principles scare e.

What did you think when Obama nearly let the government shut down so you wouldn't get your check for a month? I don't think I'd care for that connection. I am glad you get social security, as you've worked hard to get it and deserve it. I, like you, have worked hard my entire life and continue to do so. I am working and paying in to social security yet know I will never see a penny if government doesn't shape up. Going into debt 5 trillion more dollars in 3 years is not helpful. Obama is a spendaholic on money we don't have. Are you sure you connect with that? Don't get me wrong though--there is blame to go around in all parties for the disaster.
