I assume that it is. That's it's business model. It's goal is to maximize gain for its investors, not create jobs nor save companies.

Bain capital? Do you have any idea WTF you are talking about? Romney was NOT INVOLVED with bain capital FOUR YEARS AFTER it went down or bankrupt. Do us all a favor.

After Jan 2007 when the Democrats took Veto Proof ( meaning they could over ride any Presidential Veto) control of the House & Senate the spending and the Nation Debt took off...check the CBO upswing in spending & Stock market decline starting in 2007. For those who do not know how it works, Congress proposes the spending for the country then along with the Senate will pass the spending bills, the President can only say Yes or No. If a President says no then the Congress & Senate if they have the votes can override his veto... Soooooo starting 2007 till 2010 both Houses had complete control of the spending on the Nation which was in the hands of the Dem-o-craps.

Romney was one of Bains origininators. Romney was Bain, Bain is Romney, no matter if he cut ties so he can play politics for a while. The fear is someone like Romney that operates like Bain won't change tactics, tactics that will benefit a reatively small number of citizens compared to someone like Obama trying to look out for the common workers instead of the big money makers.

There is ample pros and cons to the pipeline, plenty of rhetoric trying to gain support, jobs and gas prices at the top of the list for rhetoric. There are plenty of articles that try and seperate fact from fiction.

Try North Dakota how are they doing. How long did it take for the environmental impact statement on keystone? Was it approved? So why are the Chinese charging a 20 perecnt luxury tax on american auto imports? Is that not a tariff? So the united states is supposed to import with no tariffs from all of its trading partners yet united states exports can be taxed, tariffed, and have so many restrictions on them that it makes the american goods to expensive to purchase. ok this is in reference to the highly 'researched' obama ad..that misses some salient points

1) Romney wasn't CEO of Bain when the GST deal was sealed he was saving the Olympics

2) Every person p#ssing and moaning on that commercial was offered a buy out comparable to a years salary

3) Bain gave a factory choked by UNIONS to the point of death..8 more YEARS of life and kept those workers working (unlike the Unions)

As I understand it their specialty was buying up companies that either weed in bankruptcy or on the verge of. They would then reorganize and streamline, yes costing some jobs in most cases, then resell it at a profit. I read an article that said they had about a 78% success rate with companies doing this. Assuming that every percentage point is 100 jobs that means that out of a possible 10,000 jobs lost he saved 7,800. That seems to be a pretty good record to me. True it sucks for those that lost their jobs but would you rather have 2,200 people out of work or 10,000 ?

Romney was attacked for his time at Bain came during the Republican presidential primary, when Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry piled on Willard for profiting while middle class workers lost their jobs and pensions. Not a single Republican stepped up for Romney. Those in his own party know exactly what slime he is.

Look at Romney's involvement with Bain. He follows the same pattern. Bain acquired companies – such as American Pad and Paper (Ampad) and Dade Behring – they went bankrupt after Romney left day-to-day operation at the firms. Mitt can spin it any way he wants, but after taking a leave of absence for the Olympics, but he was still listed as president and CEO of those companies, and was still making money off that investment.

Mitt has not and never did create 10000 jobs. Another Romney lie from Mr Milk Toast himself. People just need to look at the facts for themselves. As far as his Olympic claims, he asked for money from the federal government to fix the mess . What's so heroic about that?
