I am confused. I was always taught that Memorial Day is to remember the soldiers that have died in Battle or in other forms of death. Then why are we 'Remembering' those soldiers that are still living?... did something happen to them that they are dead now and I didn't know about it???

Good point, but rewrite the question, you make yourself sound retarded and you are not retarded!

By the way who was using this day for living soldiers? Do they mean to just also include injured soldiers or everyone?

You are right and like I said, good point!

Memorial Day's purpose is to honor American Men and Women who died while serving in the Armed Forces in all wars. It is not intended as a day to honor the living. Originally it was a day of remembrance only for Union Soldiers who died in the Civil War.

Anything else is just an interpretation.
